On Saturday, February 13, 2016, Jackson Police Officers responded to 843 McCluer Rd. regarding a shooting. Upon officers' arrival it was learned that Mr. James Hankins had been shot in the head at this location. What is so distressing is JPD seems to capture these thugs every time. Every time. Then you read their rap sheet, and they are multiple arrestees. RSS is a freaking JOKE.
No bond for capital murder, right?
Would like to know which Judge let him out to commit this terrible crime.
Quit posting this shit. Most of us are numb to it.
Why do the judges keep letting these thugs back out on the streets to commit even worse crimes??
People from Jackson do not want stuff like this to be posted. They are alright with people being murdered for a few $. They are alright with the murderers getting away with it. They are even alright with the murderers committing other murders.
They are not alright with it being public how sorry law enforcement in Jackson is. They are not alright with people knowing how dangerous Jackson is. They are not alright with people knowing Jackson is a sanctuary for criminals.
6:23 A judge didn't let him out. I think you have him mixed up with his brother and cousins. The homicide happened in February. No arrest was ever made because the only description given was a black male dressed in black. A double homicide happened in March. A few weeks later two arrests were made in the double homicide. During the investigation of the latter homicide, Joshua Dukes became a suspect in Mr. Hankins death which occurred in February. Today a warrant was issued for Joshua Dukes, who currently resides at the Raymond Detention Center. This charge was added to his already two counts of Capital Murder.
Jackson is lost, Hinds County is lost.
Every bit of woe coming to both political bodies has been earned.
Enjoy your lawlessness idiots, and your economic ruin!!!
Sorry Stamps, that ain't your hand on my ...
Chockwhe lumumba's New African Republic has come to fruition in the city of Jackson. In all my travels in the u.s. I have never seen a city as decrepit as jackson. I am not a jackson hater and my family has long roots here. The tables have turned and its a very ugly situation. I feel very sorry for this gentleman's family.
This cat has almost earned an invitation to the White House. You have to admire his dedication to his craft.
There is a new housing boom underway in Madison and Rankin counties and it ain't because there is a large influx of people coming into the metro area from elsewhere in Mississippi or from out of state.
Well, I am a Jackson "people" and I am very glad that Kingfish is keeping us informed. Some of you posters would love to just erase what is Jackson, but that is just wistful thinking. It is better for us to know what is happening.
The things that are happening in Jackson will continue to get worse every election unless the people decide they want it to change. So far the people of Jackson are willing to allow crime to happen unchecked. The people of Jackson should have the type of city the majority wants but the people in the surrounding area wish you would keep it inside the city limits.
We do not want thugs coming to our city.
Unchecked? More like unfettered.
@ 8:46, One thing that is being hidden under our noses are the transfer of motels and hotels into subsidized government housing . Your cities need to make regulations to limit the amount of hotels being built, the transfer of them to Minority (Indian) owners and making them housing projects that are located under your noses. Katrina changed the landscape when the influx of residents from New Orleans relocated and there was no place to go. Look at Jackson and you will see the "weekly rate " hotels are everywhere. Just sit and watch the school buses drop off and pick up each day at these places.
