Update: MDOC stated in an email: when this person was indicted he was in prison. He was housed at the Issaquena County Correctional Facility. He went on probation in May 2015. (So he indicted before he went on probation.) Upon learning late that this person is a suspect in a shooting in Jackson, MDOC visited his residence early this morning and did not find him. MDOC then obtained a warrant for his arrest for probation violation. He is now being sought by MDOC. Once he is arrested and taken before the judge, the judge will determine what happens to him.
JPD is looking for two suspects in a shooting that took place recently at the Westwick Apartments. At least one suspect is well known to police and is currently free on the street as the judges, prosecutors, and MDOC can't exactly figure out what to do with Ontario Williams. Check out his story.
JPD issued this press release as well as two mug shots today:
This is not the first time Williams has run not into, but through the law. Williams was indicted for a house burglary on Jamaica Drive waaaay back in November 2012. The case was assigned to Hinds County Circuit Judge Jeff Weill. Jeff Weill would be tough on the guy, right? Wrong. Our friendly Canadian was sentenced to serve seven years in prison for one count of house burglary BUT the court suspended six years of the sentence, gave him credit for time served, and placed him on five years probation on December 5, 2014. Two years to get to sentencing on a house burglary charge (P.4 below).
Ontario apparently did not learn from the break the court gave him and proceeded to get himself indicted on April 2, 2015 in Hinds County for one count of grand larceny and one count of house burglary. The case was assigned to Judge Wild Bill Gowan. The case is still meandering along its merry way, as Judge Gowan set his bond at $10,000 for the house burglary count and $5,000 for the grand larceny count. The case has been continued several times and trial is set for July 25, 2016.
Keep in mind Ontario's first conviction was a felony. He was again indicted for a felony. Ontario has allegedly and apparently moved up the ladder from house burglary to grand larceny to aggravated assault (with a firearm). The boy is truly blessed with talent as he moves up the scale. Not bad for a suspected child molester? Child molester? Yup, check out this 2010 WLBT story:
Four teenagers have been arrested after having sexual encounters with an eleven year old girl while at school.Catch & release.
According to Jackson Police Spokesman Conlendula Green, the girl has admitted she had oral sex with the four teenage boys. 15 year old Darious Washington and Ontario Williams, 16 year old Jamez Rogers, and 17 year old Nicholas Watson have all been arrested and charged as adults with sexual battery. Green says the first sexual encounter took place October 29th at Christ Missionary and Industrial College (CM&I), a private school in North Jackson.
The 11 year old says it happened many times at several different locations on school property. Authorities found out about the incidents after the girl's grandmother went through the child's phone and found several vulgar text messages.
Oh yes, there is also Jamario Hudson. Hudson was indicted on April 24, 2014 for one count of house burglary. The case has been repeatedly continued.

No wonder the crime rate is dropping in Jackson. They are very tough on crime. Wonder how long it will be before a person is killed by the out standing citizen. He has already tried it once, at least.
Hinds County ... A World of Difference ... and A Very Special Place!

Not since Oranjello and Lemonjello (real brothers from, Greenville, before the names were fictionalized by Grisham) has there been such an outstanding pair of names for little boys.
Every judge in Hinds County, along with the DA and his staff, needs to step aside and allow some judges and a DA with BIG BA!LS to sit on the bench and prosecute criminals. This has gotten past the point of just being ridiculous. The only difference in Jackson and Chicago is the population. Why the hell do we have a judicial system and a prison system if they are not used to punish criminals and protect the law abiding taxpayers?

Sure as all Shuler-Smith ain't because of the density of Donkeycrats.
In a few short years dude goes from playing football and basketball at Jim Hill to murder.
Meanwhile Johnny 'Do you know who I am?' Horhn efforts to move the needle on Mattiace's behalf but says NOTHING about the generations he and his fellow old guard economic pimps are leaving behind to ruin.
Way to go John Horhn. You've always got your priorities in order.
Orangelo and Lemongelo were born in Yazoo City.
Can the shooting victim sue Hinds County and MDOC for negligence?
My boy is a good boy. He will rob you, but, he won't kill you.
Orangelo and Lemongelo are pure urban legend
Jackson has to let criminals go, they have no other option. They simply have too many criminals and not enough room to lock them up. Every week end the cells in Raymond fill up with the criminals the cops arrest on that week end. Come Monday morning the cells are so full they have to release some before they can lock up any more. Criminals know this. All they have to do is set it out until Monday morning. They will be released on OR. No other way to do it.
The only way to stop it from infecting other areas besides Jackson is to build a fence around Jackson.
Doesn't the Chief Justice of the State of Mississippi have an obligation to see that Judges are hearing enough cases and doing their job for the pay they are getting? Does any official have authority over the Hinds County DA? Seems like the police, sheriff, and jail always get the blame but never the judiciary. And many just lump their criticism under the code word "Jackson". Those of us who still see and believe in Jackson and are aware that we have a large population of uninformed voters who seem to follow a corrupt and/or uninformed media, would really appreciate some higher authority that could pause and correct our broken judiciary system. Maybe then we could get a break from serial criminals and devote some resources to infrastructure.
Judge Weil actually was expected to give Ontario a non-adjudication and zero jail time but Ontario failed to appear for sentencing so a bench warrant was issued and when he was finally picked up and brought to Court Judge Weil increased the sentence to what he thought was appropriate.
"Orangelo and Lemongelo are pure urban legend "
Maybe - I couldn't say for certain.
But I have seen the North Carolina birth certificate for a poor boy whose boneheaded mother just thought "Latrine" was a pretty name.
God, I hope that kid got his name changed the day he turned 18.

Okay, but first let's think if there could be a down side to that.
7:25, try making a list of all of the pros and cons. One list may end up being very short.
