Ali "Paula Deen" Shamsid Deen goes into Uncle Tom mode.

Here is another installment of the Ali Shamsid Deen Chronicles-  -The Uncle Tom edition. Hinds County Circuit Judge candidate Mr. Ali Shamsid-Deen wrote in the Jackson Advocate on August 15, 1991 a column in which he had a few things to say about Black conservatives.  Kim Wade, brace yourself:

"There is a new trend to associate the term Black conservatives with the phrase Black self help.
This trend needs to be exposed before it even gets off the ground.   Until recently the term conservative when applied to caucasians meant "Lets bring back to the good old days" (with emphasis on old) or at the very least lets maintain the status quo."

"The so called Black conservatives are leading Black self help while they reap the benefits of well placed caucasian friends.  They are the type of people who won't associate with most African Americans and feel that they have to or need to equate themselves with the rest of us.  Until they reach that point that they feel that their rights have been denied."

Read the rest of the column below. Good stuff.

Jeff Weill must really be nervous about losing his job if you are posting stuff from over twenty years ago.

Maybe, Ms.Ali Shamsid Dumdassawali, the black conservatives just don't want to associate with you. First, you have one of those 'made-up" cartoon names, im sure your praying to that child molester/rapist Mohammed, and on your own volition joined a political party that bought and sold your own people as slaves. WTF? So the only UNCLE TOMS here are those that joined ranks with the former slaves masters, which are democrats. I cant imagine seeing my ancestors one day and explaining to them...HEY, IM A DEMOCRAT...THAT SLAVE SHIT WASNT THAT BAD!

If she wants to sit on the bench, a course in remedial English would be in order; too late for Tomie Green.

Just curious. Is she Muslim?

I'm loving how the whole institution of slavery is being blamed soley on one political party.
How convenient.
They also would have you believe that only the south had slaves.
Some have never heard or understood the word 'scape goat'.
Freedom of engineered thought prevails, I guess.

Facts are stubborn things. Trying reading some history books to alleviate your ignorance.

Just for clarity.... I don't think this is a she....

Ha! You fools don't even know Ali is a male.

Good to know you have not judged a book by its cover!

I have yet to talk to a lawyer who doesn't believe that Judge Weill is a poor Circuit Judge. Even though I don't know much about Mr. Shamsid-Deen, I'm voting for him because he can't be worse than Judge Weill.

Judge Gowan is by far the best Circuit Judge in Hinds County.

You can't fix stupid can you @8:59AM can you? Are you really stupid or are you playing stupid? Either way, why don't you sit down and STFU?

Unfortunately 8:12 you've either not spoken with very many lawyers that have practiced in front of Judge Weill or you simply have not spoken with many lawyers, period. Either way, here is one more lawyer's opinion that I hope you will consider. I am a lawyer with well over 2 decades of practice - consequently, I around other lawyers on a daily basis. The consensus among the lawyers I know is that you that you will not find a more fair, objective, hard-working and competent Judge in Hinds County (and probably not anywhere in the State of Mississippi) than Judge Weill. Most seasoned attorneys advocate hard for their clients and accept gratiously the fact that "you win some, you lose some" - it's the nature of our chosen profession. I will concede that some lawyers who have found themselves on the losing side of cases or arguments in front of Judge Weill unfortunately become resentful - most of us, however, accept our victories and defeats knowing that at least a good, principled man like Judge Weill has been fair - you shouldn't ask for or expect more than that.

Judge Weill has had darn near no cases overturned, while Tomie Green has had nearly 40% of hers overturned on appeal. Facts are stubborn things.

If Judge Green is a sorry judge, why isn't someone running against her? She is unopposed.

10:39,

I am not sure of the type of lawyers you that you associate with> I am assuming its civil defense firm types (nothing wrong with that btw) that have little interaction with Judges in court. Either that or you work on his campaign.

8:12 is correct. Judge Weill is horrible Judge. Talk to any prosecutor or defense lawyer (those that have to deal with him the most) and they will all tell you that they can't stand him. He boasts that he has tried the most cases but that is such a narrow way to look at it. When you "try" a case you only dispose of that one case. I have seen the disposition numbers and Weill is last in those numbers (the ones that count).

3:08, when you see the court disposition numbers, could you ask for a copy for the rest of us not so privileged? Its one thing the general public could use to decide...in the judicial elections that actually have contestants.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
