Barack Obama says his policies are on the ballot November 4!
On Thursday,
President Obama had a moment of honesty: he said, “I am not on the
ballot this year, but every single one of my policies are on the
ballot.” It's true: this election is about who supports the President’s
policies over the last six years, and who believes we need to change
those liberal policies if we are going to get America back on the right
track.
President Obama’s weakness in the foreign policy arena has led to the current disastrous situation with ISIS in the Middle East, Russian aggression towards Ukraine, and ever-growing Chinese influence in East Asia.
Senator Thad Cochran believes in a strong national defense, and as ranking member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, he works hard to make sure our armed forces remain the best in the world. Mississippi plays a key role in national security with our military bases and shipbuilding, and defense industries. Senator Cochran is their champion the U.S. Senate.
President Obama’s immigration policies have led to the crisis on our southern border and he is threatening to illegally grant amnesty unilaterally which is a terrible idea.
Senator Cochran has never voted for amnesty. He opposed amnesty when it was proposed under President Reagan in 1986, President Bush, and President Obama. That’s because Thad does what is best for Mississippi, no matter who is in the White House. While some people talk about fighting illegal immigration, Thad Cochran has a real record of voting to stop illegal immigration and opposing amnesty every time it's proposed.
Obamacare has been a disaster for our health care system. Thad believes patients and doctors should make health care decisions, not Washington, D.C. bureaucrats, which is why he believes Obamacare should be repealed and common sense reforms enacted in its place. Thad has voted more than 100 times to stop Obamacare!
Senator Cochran’s opponent voted for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House, donated to John Kerry for President, and supports keeping Obamacare in place. Make no mistake: a vote for Travis Childers is a vote for President Obama’s policies. And now that President Obama has admitted that his policies are on the ballot on November 4, the choice for Mississippians is crystal clear in the election.
A vote for Thad Cochran is a vote for Republican control of the U.S. Senate, common sense conservative values, and a new direction for Washington, D.C.
