The Chris McDaniel campaign issued the following press release:
Republican Chris McDaniel Responds to Supreme Court Ruling
Laurel, MS -- Republican Chris McDaniel issued a statement today in the wake of the Supreme Court's dismissal of his motion to appeal.
"Republicans in Mississippi are still left wanting for
justice after June's Republican primary was decided by more than 40,000
Democrats," McDaniel said. "Worse yet, the courts refused even to hear
our challenge," he continued.
"When we launched this campaign over a year ago, we
committed to fight to the very end, and many conservatives showed a
great deal of courage in standing up with us," said McDaniel. "And the
fight to save our republic is only just beginning."
"But now it is time to turn the page and work to enact true
conservative change in Mississippi and in Washington, D.C.," McDaniel
continued. "It is my hope that conservatives in Mississippi will view
this decision as a motivating factor to get involved in Republican
politics so we can change our state for the better for future
generations."

I'm not left wanting anything but for McDaniel to please shut up with his fictitious story. He can go.
I went to High School with Scott Brewster. He was an idiot then and has only grown into a bigger one since.
Oh Jesus! Please tell me he's not going to run for Governor or President.
If his challenge is/was based on Democrats voting in the Republican primary, he simply has no case.
1. There is no law against Democrats voting in the Republican primary. None. No statute prohibits this in Mississippi. One statute states that it is illegal to vote in a primary in which the voter does not intend to support the party nominee, but it is universally acknowledged as unenforceable and, in any event, a voter must be challenged before the vote is cast.
2. There is no statute that bars voting in the primary of one party and the runoff of another party, as long as those elections are not on the same day. For you McDaniel diehards, read the statute. It says only that a voter cannot vote in two different party primaries on the same day, nothing more (excluding prohibitions about voting twice in different places, etc.on the same day).
3. An individual may not challenge open primary laws on the basis of freedom of association. Standing to raise this claim belongs to a political party, not an individual. Courts have made this clear, both explicitly and implicitly.
I assume Mel is consoling Mack at this point?
Probably what's keeping her from filing her report.
Who knows. These people are loons. Chris said he has always dreamt of being a judge. A freaking judge. I don't even want to sit here and try to fathom that.
I am just glad there is no law prohibiting a republican for voting for a democrat in the general election. Thus, me and all the people I can influence will be voting for Travis Childers on November 4th!!
I'll be voting Childers. Not as an "againster" but I think Childers has some things worth voting for which are better than Cochran. Also, hes more personable as opposed to senile. I see little difference between Republican Party and Democrat Party except for talking points...and neither of the parties actually act on what they say.

"me and all the people..." That's "I and all the people". Please.

Here's what I wrote:

Here's your self appointed grammar critique: "for which are better than Cochran"
After weighing your comment here is what I meant to say: "I'll be voting Childers. Not as an "againster" but I think Childers has some things worth voting for which are better than Cochran."
But thanks, anyway, for your efforts in making the internet safe for grammar. Good Day.
McDaniel and a few of his minion's bitterness has no end.
First, let me vent and say how sorry I am NOW that I voted twice for McDaniel. I did, and still do, believe Cochran is not the best man for the job moving forward, but he's the only republican running for the Senate, and he's an ORDER OF MAGNITUDE better than any democrat! Furthermore, I have come to discover, over the last 4 months, that Cochran looks to be a far better senator than McDaniel would have been. This whole ordeal should have been over LONG before now, and I truly believe McDaniel has ruined any future prospects he may have had for holding public office in the future....and that's probably for the best.
That being said, for all of you McDaniel hangers-on, exactly what do you propose to accomplish by voting for Childers? What, you're so angry that you're going to burn your house down? Weren't you voting - as I was - to get representation that is more forceful against the awful policies of the left? And yet, you now believe that, since Cochran is the only republican candidate remaining, it's sound reasoning to vote for Childers, who will promote the very policies you're so strongly against?
Just take a step back, take a breath, get out of the McDaniel echo chamber, and think about what you're doing / proposing others do....voting for a democrat - irrespective of how angry you may be with the Cochran campaign - doesn't make even pretty good sense!

You're still confused about what is meant by "democrats" and "republicans" in the KKKris McDanny news releases.
"Democrats" is a code word for **gg**s as in "I like the Mississippi State football team, but it has too many democrats on it."
"Republicans" means white people who are scared of or think they are somehow better than ni****s and especially the ****** in the White House.
When you make the effort to teach the McKKK bunch about anything in Mississippi law, you're simply not understanding what they are actually saying.
When they say "Democrat," they are actually saying *****r. When they say "Republican," they are actually talking about white people only.

Actually, that would be "all the people and I..." Sheesh. Really?
