The Chris McDaniel campaign distributed the following email:
Dear Supporter,
Thanks to illegal voting from liberal
Democrats, my opponent stole last week’s runoff election, but I’m not
going down without a fight. I have not given up on sending my conservative values to Washington. Please, stand with me as I fight this injustice until the very end.
Last week’s runoff election was a sham,
plain and simple. Across the state, Democrats took to the polls to vote
in the Republican primary to make sure that Thad Cochran could return to
Washington to keep pushing for reckless spending in the senate.
We’ve already found thousands of
irregularities in the voting process. According to Mississippi state
law, Democrats who voted in the Democratic primary cannot vote in the
Republican runoff, and that is exactly what happened.
We have a long fight ahead of us. I know
exactly how long and frustrating court battles can be, but I believe
this will be worth it. There is too much at stake to back down from this fight.
The problem is that court cases are
expensive, and we don’t currently have the resources to mount the legal
challenge that this case deserves. Please, take a moment to contribute to the Election Challenge Fund to help me contest this corrupt election.
I’ve
seen conservative from around the country come together because you
believe in my conservative principles, and I’m counting on you again to
help make sure that a fair election took place last week. Can you donate $50 to make sure that I can mount a legal challenge against last week’s shameful election?

Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

What committee do you plan on serving on if elected? I've heard all about Conservative principles, founding fathers, the Constitution, and Reagan. Which confuses me because you like Reagan, but Democrats voted for Reagan. What's up with that?
Oh, god... Just go away.
If they have evidence of illegal votes, stop talking about it and produce the evidence. I doubtt they have it, but if they do produce it.
I think the main irregularity is Chris' digestive system looking at campaign debt after the Tea Party patriots and Freedom Riders ran out of town like a scalded cat.
Chris McDaniel reminds me of a preacher telling you all he can do, should be able to do and will do if you send money. This guy is a con artist, used car salesman and just trying to pay off campaign debt. He will use this for another week, give up and have a data base of names, money to pay off debt and laugh at these dumbass TP people.
It'll be interesting to see how many suckers throw good money after bad.
This is sooooo desperate.
It's embarrassing not only to the tea baggers, but to the state of MS.
It is better to be silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
I thought Chris was flush and had plenty of personal assets.
They should have had someone proofread this document before sending it out. Several mistakes are easy to spot.
Is McDaniels the Manchurian Candidate? He has taken a "safe" Republican Senate seat in a crucial election year and given the Democrats real hope of winning. The longer he strings this out and blackens Cochran's reputation, the better for the Dems.
I'm sure that Harry Reid will be sending him $50.
Sounds a lot like Al Gore in 2000 with regards to Florida. Keep in mind, Al never ran for public office again. Burned too many bridges.
Keep it up Chris...you are making quite a name for yourself.
This sounds almost like Ware v. DuPree, except in that case true injustice was done both at the ballot box and in the courtroom.
If McDaniel and his band of followers can produce documented evidence of crossover voting between June 3 and June 24, bring it. I don't doubt there could be SOME, but enough to reverse the outcome? Doubtful.
My guess is McDaniel is pandering to the right wingers in an attempt to keep himself relevant and possibly to land that next broadcasting gig.
Joan of Arc. Chris of the Free State of Jones.
Friends, I am calling on you to help us in this hour of need. The Forces of Darkness (Cochtran's Campaign Staff) have descended from Evil DC upon our sweet state like swarms of locusts. Our very existence is at stake. The GubMint 'Stablishmint Forces are here to take our children and indoctrinate them with evolution and sinful ideas such as one vote one man. If we do not stop the Liberal Democrats (Ronald Reagan, Thad Cochran, Phil Bryant, and Tate Reeves), these Democrats in Patriot's Clothing will have us with flouride in toothpaste, chlorine in our water, and canned biscuits in our fridge. Please send ME money today so I can STOP the Gubmint from sending YOU money. It's the only way that I, omniscient, omnipotent, onmivore, can stop THAD from being a Senator and helping the poorest state in the Union. Send your love offering today to SUEMYWAINSENATE.fayke so that we can stop Thad. Help me not help you. Or else!!!!!
Chris, a man's got to know his limitations. Retrench in Jones County. You just aren't real Senator material.
Chris is slated for the Committee to Stop Committees and the House Burning Committee on Self Preservation and Social Darwinism.
I hope to heck those over-zealous McDaniel supporters don't assume their manic calling homes for money now like they did for votes. His supporters completely turned off my family and many of my friends to him by calling our homes day and night sometimes as many as four or five times a day for weeks. Seriously, did this guy not ever learn how to lose and do it gracefully? I don't think so.
One of those moments that just makes you say, hmm . . . .
“Records show conservative Republican U.S. Senate candidate Chris McDaniel voted as a Democrat in the 2003 state primary.” –Associated Press 11/13/2013
Chris McDaniel denied it. But, “McDaniel’s campaign spokesman Keith Plunkett said it is possible McDaniel voted in the 2003 Democratic primary.”
Mississippi’s Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann confirms it: “I looked at [the records], and they show he voted Democrat when Haley Barbour, Amy Tuck, Tate Reeves and Stacey Pickering were running in the Republican Primary. They also show he didn’t vote in the presidential election in 2004 — when Bush was running — and didn’t vote in the Republican Primary in 2008.”
Official Voting Record from Mississippi Secretary of State for Chris McDaniel
Official Voting Record from Mississippi Secretary of State for Chris McDaniel
So, Chris McDaniel says he is a lifelong Republican. But he voted in the Democratic Primary; didn’t vote in an important Republican Primary, and when liberal Democrat Senator John Kerry was running against President George W. Bush…he didn’t vote at all.
Chris McDaniel, he says one thing, his record says something else.
Lifelong Republican since the age of 13 as he avows, or not?
10:23 - exactly. It's all about the fundraising.
Speaking of which, Gregg Harper is on the fundraising circuit. For what?
Please quit begging and go to the house.
Pretty sad that none of these posters seem to care if maybe he is right----- but you didn't seem to care about the farm animals either which speaks volumes for your personal integrity
Geez, if you send out an official letter to supporters and don't even bother to capitalize "Senate," then maybe you should be disqualified on technical grounds.
Sorry, but that kind of thing bugs me.
See Joe Miller of Alaska.
See also WATB.
10:49- McDaniel appears to be more of a hybrid of Homer Stokes and Elmer Gantry.
It's all about the sanctity! Can he get an amen?!
didn't take long for the next kookville stunt to appear...
Oh dear, there's a grammatical error. Doesn't he proofread before sending out a press release?
Now I " get" it. This is all about money. He'll keep what he doesn't spend.
And, he's counting on national TP contributions as well.
Should be in the millions at $50 a pop.
But, I think he'll use some for a book he can sell on a speaking tour which should make even more money.
Who knows, his family might even get their own reality TV show!
CM has more balls than any candidate. We need his strength in DC. He is not going to let Mississippi fail. He also has a family that he will have to look out for in the future. He has proven to me that he has the strength and courage to challenge the most powerful men in Mississippi......and that is a scary situation. I am impressed and so are many others. I just don't understand however why chris has to raise money why isnt some other entity taking care of this? If there is proof of illegality, why would Chris have to pay for it? why wouldn't there be an authority for the state to take care of this? When an individual commits fraud, they are arrested and go to a court date.....so explain to me how this process works (without being a smartass)
This week's email fundraiser is a scam, plain and simple. Because 7 Million Dollars to force a Tea Party darling into office is just not enough dinero. Please, Tea Party folks. Wake up to this guy. Look at his personal voting record. He just wants to beat somebody from outside Jones County no matter what price YOU pay. Now and in future politics. Megalomania.
Thad calls party affiliation in Mississippi a 'state of mind'. Principles are 'states of imagination', I guess. Then you have to wonder what state law is if not just such a 'state of mind'?
An election is a just a dream.
Wow. If McDaniel's appeal and his Mississippi followers come through, I fear for the manufactured housing industry in the state in the next few months. Sales could drop dramatically.
If this is a paid political ad, please list it as such. If not, why post a free political ad especially after a recent plea for money for this web site?
"Until the Very End" means until this moron gets enough funds off this election he can pay debt and retire on the surplus. "Liberal Democrats" are Chris' code words for our black fellow citizens that he thought were ineligible to vote in his whites only version of the Republican party. Sorry Chris, but this is a multi-racial state and the Republican Party in Mississippi is becoming more multi-racial as the economic status of blacks improve here. If you don't like it, you need to move someplace other than Mississippi.
11:13
Harper is on the fundraising circuit because he doesn't want to get backed into the hole that Cochran did. He's looking 2 years ahead and building his war chest now. If he doesn't need it in 2 or 4 years to keep his congressional seat, he'll need it when he runs for Cochran's seat after retirement.
Well, I guess voter ID has been a waste of time and money.
I can't wait to see what else will be foisted upon us!
Travis Childers might as well go ahead and rent an apartment in DC with a 6 year lease. This nightmare has just about destroyed the GOP brand in Mississippi and is turning off voters fast. It is doing an equal amount of damage to Cochran and McDaniel.
Chris, I have news for you. In every election in Mississippi and the nation Republicans and Democrats vote in each others elections unless you have a system that you are registered as one or the other. It is time for you to go away. It has long been not about beating the Democrats and has become your ego chase. Liberal Democrats you say over and over. I know some conservative Democrats. Would they vote for you? Doubtful because of your immaturity. You do not need to be a Senator. You have shown that it is all talk. Just like Obama. Promise all sorts of things you could never accomplish. You have pandered to and used the dissatisfaction with Washington to get the votes you got. It is time to stop. As far as I am concerned , and I have been a very conservative Republican for a long time, you are through in Republican politics.
10:53 said, "Sounds a lot like Al Gore in 2000 with regards to Florida. Keep in mind, Al never ran for public office again. Burned too many bridges."
Al also has made upwards of half a billion due to his buddies appointment him to Boards where stock options are abundant. I'd love to burn the bridges Gore burned.
How many illegally cast votes would it take to set the attention of a non corrupt judge?
And we wonder why the average citizen is just sick of politics. Bring in the clowns? They are are acting like idiots in center circle.
@ 10:23 - Please stop slandering used car salesmen by comparing them to Chris McDaniel. Used car salesmen deserve better.
Soooo.....he's accusing Cochran of buying votes at $15 a pop, and yet he's shilling for the win himself at $50 a pop? Sounds like Thad is offering a batter deal.
Somebody needs to call an ambulance.....I think Chris got bit by one of those snakes he's been handling. Nobody could make this stuff up.....Teabillys, Don't Tread on MS anymore! See ya.
I saw where he had a campaign debt of more that 100,000. this must be for salaries for those dumb enough to work without getting paid!
Enough of this McDaniel fool!
"I've seen many politicians paralyzed in the legs as myself, but I've seen more of them who were paralyzed in the head."
George C. Wallace
i'll tell you what gregg harper is doing fund-raising right now....he knows he better get some $$$ to buy democrats since that's the only way that HE will win an election either...i have switched to childers and i hope that 185,00 other mcdaniel supporters do too!
BEAT BARBOUR - VOTE CHILDERS!!!
1032. It is not any more desperate than paying $15 for someone to come 'n vote for ya' ..........sumethin goin' on over thar in river city bubba'
@12:01 This elitist said it all, old money and Ole Miss crowd consider everyone else as "white trash".
11:50: Chris is that you? I'm not sure about the relevance of "he also has a family he will have to look out in the future." It doesn't make sense contextually. Unless of course the messiah complex is hereditary, then we will all need to look out in the future.
1:14: love it!

Glad to see that you are totally clueless about Harper's election prospects this year. You fulfill my preconceived notions about McDaniel supporters.
2:05 I am with you. 35,000 cross
over voters plus just 50% of Mcdaniels supporters equals nearly
115,000 votes for Childers that will not go Cochran's way. Might be a tall hill to climb.
The black caucus is bragging that they own Thad Cochran. In an interview they said that they pushed him over the top and they expect a big payback in support for
their spending programs.
Childers winning HELPS national establishment Republicans, Einstein. You TPs are so stupid.
If you aren't smart enough to figure out why, I ain't explaining it to you.
WAY TO GO CHRIS! STAND UP FOR WHAT'S RIGHT! NO COMPROMISE NO SURRENDER!
Hey McDaniel...did it ever occur to you that some Republicans didn't vote in the first go round because we thought Thad would kick your ass. We regretted not going to the polls and so we showed up for the second round to make sure our voices were heard. I know I underestimated your support and didn't show up the first time, but I damn sure didn't the second time. And I have NEVER voted as a Democrat. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, sore loser.

I am aware of this. If we allow Barbour and that bunch to hijack an
election like this conservatives will never win an election. As for as control of the Senate....Very little difference in the end between Reid and Mcconnell. At least with Reid, you know what you will get. The very people that gripe about spending just can't wait to get ole Santa Claus re-elected. He will vote to increase gasoline and desiel taxes. Never mind he voted for a 820 billion dollar stimulus bill and all those "shovel ready" highway jobs. It goes on and on. Bottom line, I am tired of lying ass so called conservatives and the Good Ole Boys and I will vote for Childers. If he screws up then maybe he will be replaced with a real conservative. He was voted out of the House after one term, maybe he learned something.
3:17 -- How's the weather up there in New Jersey?
Einstein asks, What good does it do to re-elect and establishment Republican to curtail the other establishment Republicans?
3:33 -- Just so we're clear -- there is a PARTY PLATFORM for Democrats which you might want to read. You might find that you don't agree with a lot of things Mr. Childers will be required to support, if he is a Democrat in Congress. What I find the saddest -- is the naiveté of many McDaniel Supporters. They have no clue how government REALLY works. Get an old Civics book and read it. You might be enlightened. It is not as simple as you would like it to be, based on your post.
Before this get's even more out of hand, I'd like to see McDaniels' Birth Certificate.
My goodness. Four year old girls don't whine this loudly for this long.
Nor do 2 year old have tantrums that last this long 5:37 pm :-)
BUUUUUUTTTTTTT IIIIII WAAAAAANNNNNTTTTTT IIITTTTTTT!!!!!!!
Simply amazed at the number of frat-boys who have jumped on the 'no evidence' bandwagon yet they believe the process of discovery is a total waste of their time.
Yep, them thar ole miss frat Cochran boys need to go get drunk and fly away. Oh--- what's the difference between and an Ole Miss frat boy and a Harvard frat boy? A helluv a lot! Hahahahahaha!!!
7/2 @1053. He might not have run for public office but he is a billionaire now and mostly from government funding. No difference-a politician or an ex-politician--they both suck the money out of our pockets. And they are richer when they come out of office.....hhhmmmm
