Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Trollfest '07
Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

They want to "weed out" all of the ineligible voters. But how do you know who those people voted for? I'm sure many Democrats who crossed over voted for McDaniel as a lesser candidate for Travis Childers.
Please send money so I can get paid. Mitch.
I'm sure Butler Snob will be no match for the firepower that Mitch Tyner brings to the table in an election contest. At least based upon his professed practice areas:
http://www.tynerlawfirm.com/areasofpractice.html
"weed out ileligible voters" and "automatically get a new election"? I hope Constitutional Scholar McDaniel can get him a better statutory lawyer to represent him in this boondoggle. Evidently Mitch is thinking with the same brain that he used when running for Governor in 2003!
Well Well, we now know that The good Senator, his faithful sidekick Noel and attorney have all been lying about the "illegal" votes. Totals are running well less than 1% statewide. 7 out of 11,000 cast in Lauderdale, 1 out of 2000 in Perry, 5 out of 2000 in Leake, 3 out of 4000 in Pontotoc, 0 in Carroll. Cochran's lead grew by over 800 statewide with certified results. Can McDaniel be disbarred for perpetuating a fraud of this magnitude?
Zero crossovers in the rural County I was in today of over 3000 cast. ZERO.
A right-wing nut who refuses to honor the results of an election and desparately seeks to undo the results of that election after the fact . . . Sounds a lot like Francisco Franco to me.
With all great conspiracy theories, the absence of proof of the crime actually is the greatest proof there is. When there is no evidence that anything nefarious took place, that is just ADDITIONAL evidence of how far the criminal actions reach.
The numbers you have quoted, 7:33 and 8:03, will only chum the waters.
Inside source says Tyner will announce tomorrow that all votes for cast for Cochran were illegally cast. An heroic inside investigation conducted By Tetly and Lipton discovered that Cochran and Barbour infected large numbers of African Americans with Mesothelioma thus causing then to vote for someone who has helped improve MS.
I would like to thank the republicans of the Great State of Mississippi for their votes in electing a Democrat to represent them in November. I have heard you and will proceed post haste to keep Obamacare, Immigration reform and welfare programs fully funded.
Your Friend
Harry Reid
Franco did what he had to do. Guess you had no problem with the commies butchering priests and blowing up churches.
Sorry kingfish, didn't know you had such a crush on Franco. I probably shouldn't have disgraced the dictator's name by comparing him to McDaniel. I agree, it's more of an insult to Franco than the other way around.
The Cochran campaign will put out a release later with the numbers so far. The overall number of of illegal votes cast will not come close to the 7700 now needed, but it turns out, based on case law (Ms Supreme Court) the actual number needed to order a new election could be 114,000 illegal votes not the margin of victory. From Noxubee County Democratic Executive Committee vs Russell 443 So 2d 1191
The scope of election violations and the ratio of illegal votes are significant, because even in the absence of fraud, the disenfranchisement of a significant number of voters will cast enough doubt on the results of an election to warrant voiding it. As a rule, if more than 30 percent of total votes have been disqualified, a special election will be required. On the other hand, when the percentage of illegal votes is smaller, even though the winning margin is less than the number of illegal votes, a special election may not be required.
Really, Kingfish, a Franco apologist in the 21st century? And your defense of that Fascist consists of red-baiting? What's next, Pinochet and the generals were just misunderstood? Tell it to the mothers of Los Desaparecidos!
"Franco established a repression which was characterized by concentration camps, forced labor and executions, mostly against political and ideological enemies, being estimated to have caused from about 200,000 to 400,000 deaths, depending on how death in concentration camps is considered." Yeah Kingfish this was one of the good guys! Not defending commies, but Franco? C'mon.
Sometimes there is not a good guy in a war. Who was the other side? Stalin. Look at their atrocities too.
Today was not the end of the beginning for McDaniel, but the beginning of the end.
I see, if you don't like Franco you must like Stalin. Sorry, doesn't work that way.
There was a democratically elected and functioning democracy in Spain before Franco's coup. He caused the chaos and the proxy war then self-righteously claimed he was saving the country. Bravisimo!
As for killing religious, neither the right or the left have a monopoly on such. You remember Archbishop Romero and the Maryknoll nuns, raped and butchered by a U.S. funded and supported Salvadoran death squad in 1980? I do as my parish priest knew them personally.
How about this as a governing principle in domestic and foreign relations? Allow democratic institutions and governments adhering to the rule of law to work, whether you like them or not.
Franco and many others violated this rule and he and they stand justifiably condemned by history.
Interesting how often seven posts in a row from Haley Harpies are posted by the same damned guy.
10:58 must be right because I never heard Chevy Chase make any running gag about Stalin.
Chuck Norris don't mess with Victor Fleitas!
8:06; You harpies disdaining our right to examine and challenge our election processes sounds a lot to me like the villages of Colombia or the mountainsides of Afghanistan.
This attitude of "To hell with legal voting; Let's just move on" is sickening and should be upsetting to every American.
Well, Blue-Inked, you indeed have the right to be stupid and to be upset over nothing.
If any of you had one whit of evidence , rather than paranoid suspicions, that the voting process was illegal, then I'd support your effort.
If you weren't maligning the integrity of so many others, including poll workers and every one in the GOP who isn't a McDaniel worshipper...if you and your candidate had followed a rational course action and not engaged instead in vitriolic rhetoric from the first moment of defeat...if you hadn't stormed the Hinds County Circuit Clerk's office but rather made the requests respectfully at the beginning...if McDaniel had provided ONE sworn affidavit or ONE documented example of voter fraud or even some rational mathematical basis for your accusations at any time...if I expected any election system to be perfect and didn't know some mistakes in entry were nothing more than human...I would support an examination.
As it is, you are wasting everyone's time . And, I find that annoying not objectionable.
What I find objectionable is that this is no more than a witch hunt.
This is for no purpose other than to further agitate the gullible and poorly informed.
Your fellow citizens are NOT the enemy. We have REAL enemies. We have REAL problems.
The Tea Party could have been a reform movement, instead the " no's" and " know nothings" have turned it into a joke.
You sir or madam are an obstacle.
Worse you further divide us as a Nation and thus weaken us at time we need to be united. And, you do this spreading misinformation and outright lies.
Were I an enemy of this Nation, I'd be funding The Tea Party! There is no better way to immobilize us than the strategic of divide and conquer!
How interesting , KF, that Franco gets introduced into this discussion.
A parliamentary democracy headed by a monarch is lost when the extremist arguments take control and Franco wins largely because the Catholic Church aligns with him.
So, Spain's only choices were a Facist dictator or a Communist dictator? Needed reforms were impossible?
Other countries managed.
Why is this bit of history so damn uncomfortable?
Could it be that extremists ideologues are taking control of our political debate as well?
Feels a bit like a Freudian moment.
Actually in that war, there really wasn't a good guy. I simply get tired of the Hemingway Hollywood mind set where it was all Franco and the other side was the good guys. The Stalinists engaged in a few atrocities as well. They also started liquidating other members of their coalition.... just as they did to Trotsky in Mexico. Sometimes there really isn't a good or better side. I would say Franco was smart in one respect. Took Germany's help and then refused to help Germany in WWII. Don't forget that while Stalin was helping the commies in Spain, he was, at the same time, allowing Germany's air force to practice in the Soviet Union so as to get around the Versailles restrictions.
See Syria.
I take it as a sign of returning sanity to Mississippi that there is more vigorous debate here about the Spanish Civil War than on the 2014 runoff election. I breathe a deep sigh of relief!
And of course, you can count me as a supporter of the Spanish republicans.
