Tennis Camp Offered to Children with Sensory, Speech and Language Disorders

Tony Yarber to Participate in Camp’s Media Day on July 10
Mayor
Tony Yarber will be among the speakers on Thursday, July 10, during the Media
Day for Jackson State University’s College of Public Service tennis camp
for children with sensory, speech and language disorders.
The
two-week camp operates from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and runs from Monday, July
7 through Friday, July 18, at Tennis Center South, 1515 McDowell Road on courts
5 and 6. The camp is free and open to all who come. It is sponsored by
the College of Public Service and the departments of Communicative Disorders
and Public Policy & Administration.
On
Thursday, July 10, Mayor Yarber and the Dr. Ricardo Brown, dean of the College
of Public Service, will be among those attending Media Day, from 9 a.m. to 9:30
a.m.
