Keep an eye out for this French bulldog that was stolen at Target yesterday. Shelia Brewer posted on Facebook:
UPDATE #2: spoke with Ms. McCain and she stated that her tag was stolen from her vehicle at work yesterday. We will have to check with the detectives and proceed with this information and we will keep you updated.UPDATE: a picture of the truck tag has been added to this post. It is a Rez tag # 2111. The vehicle is registered to a Tasha McCain and we have reached out to her with no response to the text and I was sent to voicemail when I called. A report was made with JPD yesterday but charges will be filed against the vehicle owner with capital police if we do not get a response from them soon. We want our dog back immediately! Our sweet boy was stolen out of the car in Jackson earlier today. We are devastated to say the least! We’re terrified that he won’t be treated well or hurt. Tucker is going to be heartbroken and we just want our boy back with us where he belongs! PLEASE everybody, please share the heck outta this post!

Tag was stolen put on a truck the dog that almost ate little Larry's homework kidnapped himself, man.
KF, please make this make sense.
A person left their dog in an (apparently) unlocked (I'm assuming running) vehicle at the N Jxn Target and the dog was stolen, but vehicle wasn't? Someone took a picture of the suspect's tag, but the person to whom the tag was registered alleges the tag was stolen?
Please add some context. This doesn't make much sense.
Why did the owner leave the dog in the car in this heat? Was the dog actually stolen, or was it rescued?
That's pretty low to steal someone's damn dog. POS.
A free online search shows #2111RZ License Plate is registered to a 2022 RAM 1500. Just like in the picture. IF the license plate was stolen, it was placed on an identical truck.
Obviously, the Ram's owner is lying.
Too bad the OP's Facebook page is private, or I could share this info with her.
My understanding is it took place at the midas adjacent to the Target
Neither post is clear as to whether the photo shows the tag on the true owner's vehicle or another vehicle. It's easy enough for the police to know whether the Dodge in the photo is the correct vehicle for the tag. It remains a mystery as to who took the photo and why.
Well, that ain't relevant. What's relevant is whether the proper owner of the tag is lying and how did the dog's owner come to be in possession of the tag and truck. Nothing about the whole damned thing makes sense.
Their “sweet boy” that they left in a strip mall parking lot
Something does not add up on this story.
The person that took the dog might have been trying to make a point that it shouldn't have been left in a car alone...does the tag belong to someone that works at a pet store?
Methinks that this is a bunch of bull, dawg.
Weird
Would be interesting to know if the dog was insured. French Bulldogs are very expensive.
There was a time, I've heard, when Kingfish would perform at least a bare minimum of investigative verification before he 'aired' just any damned, out-of-the-blue story.
I was being nice, grinch.
Am so confused. But then I just have cats & they refuse to go to Target with me.
Being a French dog, did it surrender? Raise a white flag?
My name is Angelo Adamo. I come from a family in Cicero, IL with strong links to the old country. For $503.29 I can have one of the boys go over and recover the pup along with three fingers from the thief. Call me and we'll work out a deal. for $5.00 more, I'll throw in a cannoli. This is a new service we are looking to add in the Metro area. Capece?
Leaving your dog in a car in this heat is no different from leaving young children in the car in this heat. I've no sympthany and hope whoever stole the dog will take good care of it or find it a good home!
"Leaving your dog in a car in this heat is no different from leaving young children in the car in this heat."
except that one is a dog and the other is a human
Oh yeah, they love that dog so much they left him in a car in a parking lot at noon in late August. I think the they should be asking who rescued the dog. They don't deserve a dog if that is how they treat them.
Once again, zero follow-up by Kingfish on a story. All that matters is rushing to scoop other media outlets with the original story, albeit a poorly arranged story/report.
Wait! There was no competition. No other medium publishes stories about missing animals.
I was being nice but of course, no good deed goes unpunished.
