Four Shot on Fairway Street
Donald Sherrod, B/M, DOB: 01/29/2004 is wanted for 4 (four) counts of Attempted Murder and 1 count of Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle. The incident occurred on July 11, 2022, at 1054 Fairway Street in Jackson, MS. Two adults, one 17-year old, were shot and a two-year old victim grazed inside their vehicle at this location. All victims are in stable condition at a local hospital. The shooting occurred possibly over a dispute of a female acquaintance between the 17 year-old victim and the shooter. All leads and information to the whereabouts of Donald Sherrod should be called in to the Jackson Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

Kids Shot Playing Basketball
The Jackson Police Department is investigating a drive-by-shooting involving Juvenile subjects at 3049 Bienville Drive and four juvenile suspects driving a white Honda Accord.
At this location, an 11-year-old male Juvenile was shot in the left leg, right leg, and shoulder, and a 14-year-old female Juvenile was shot (grazed) in the neck area while playing basketball in the drive-way of their residence when a white Honda with tinted windows came driving down Marble Street to Bienville Drive. The Juvenile suspects opened the doors on the vehicle and fired shots at the juvenile victims and the house. Other juvenile subjects living at the address then returned firing at the four suspects driving the white Honda Accord. The white Honda Accord left the scene and was recovered abandoned at the Wood Village Apartments on Highland Drive.Anyone with information who can identify the person(s)responsible for the shooting of these two juvenile victims and the suspects driving the white Honda Accord is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477). You will be given a personal ID number, and your identification will remain completely anonymous.
Shooting Over Missing TV
Two females victims, Sedrica Robinson (19) b/f, and Reanna Shelton(20) B/F were shot while at a traffic light at Capitol and OFerrel Street, when a gold Implala occupied by a male and female suspect drove next to their vehicle and began to shoot at them. Victim Reanna Shelton advised that it was a dispute about a missing TV. Shelton and Robinson drove themselves to the hospital in Shelton's white Nissan Altima. Sedrica Robinson was shot in the left arm and Reanna Shelton in the right hand. Both were in stable condition with non- life threatening injuries. Warrants are
forthcoming on suspects for Aggravated Assault X2 and Drive-By-Shooting.

There's a FB page where people who listen to the police scanner report what is going on. That's the only real way to know about most of the crime happening in Jackson. The situation is terrible and way too many people shrug it off by saying "crime is everywhere." I'm so sick of that b.s. It may be everywhere but not in the amount we have it in Jackson.

We're a half-century past the Great Society, and our $25 trillion in taxpayer dollars have purchased daily occurrences like this, particularly in black-led and/or majority black cities. Yes, I said it. At some point, you have to acknowledge the common denominator.
And by the way, as another commenter on this thread noted, we rarely get the stories about the white victims. If these were white victims, we wouldn't get this one.

I hate to say it but since that horrible day in May, more and more kids have been shot and killed in Jackson. I think people are becoming numb to it. It also doesn't help when we see kids barely older than these child victims who are killing and carjacking. Hell, look what happened up north yesterday. A damn TEN year old and fourteen year old turned themselves in for beating a 73 year old man to death. People are becoming numb, which I am sure you will agree, is not a good thing.

Lots of national media coverage for mass shootings and school shootings but very little coverage for the ongoing, weekly (or daily) shootings that occur in cities like Jackson. Gross disregard for all of the 10 commandments in this city, particularly number 6. No fear of God whatsoever.
