Governor Gets Vaccinated

Governor Tate Reeves got the Covid-19 vaccine today:

Kingfish note: I dunno. Notice the arm blocks a view of the actual injection. How do we know what actually was in the syringe. Know that I think about it, how do we know an actual injection took place? Can you see it? No independent personnel such as the media were present, just gummint employees. Why is one person not wearing gloves while the other one is? How do we know the vaccine actually works? Oh hell,l never mind.  I can't keep a straight face while writing this conspiracy theory stuff.

I tried to get a appointment on the covidvaccine.umc.edu website.
I logged on at 10:05 AM & finally got into the register at 12:20 PM.
I selected a location and no appointments were available. So, I wasted 2 ½ hours
To get to a broken registration site. Tater Tot handling of the pandemic is a total failure!

Did it hurt? Did he cry? Hope he at least got a Band Aid for his Boo Boo.

Musta had a bat phone. Good luck to the plebs. Keep dialing.

What a cuck. Did he sip on a bottle of chocolate flavored soylent as a soothing treat afterward?

Good to see that Obama didn’t have a monopoly on broken websites for major government initiatives. Crappy websites are bipartisan.

This is what happens with MSDH uses Hillary's basement server that was sold on e-Bay loaded with Chinese software.

What category of eligibility did the governor meet to get the vaccine? How did he get to schedule it?

I find myself laughing at every photo I see of this guy.

Yes, the UMC website has been overloaded. It was just like the Employment Security website when back in March all of a sudden hundreds of thousands of people were eligible for Unemployment dollars - yesterday several hundred thousands of Mississippians were suddenly moved up on the schedule and were eligible to sign up for the vaccine.

Did the website continually crash yesterday? Absolutely. But with persistence one could get through and make an appointment. How do I know? Because I did it. Took a few hours, but it was worth it. Have my appointment for early next week within my county; didn't have to drive a hundred miles to find a site as some have suggested.

But after yesterday's announcement that all us folks over 65 could get in, and the overload on the system, last night they added more channels and servers. Today, you have to get in line, a long line at that, and wait your turn as opposed to last night next in, next up system. Is it still as great as it should be? No. But next door in Alabama they don't even have a website to make an appointment - only way is to try to call in to a person. Georgia's website has totaly crashed and was inoperable yesterday. So bitch all you want, it could be worse.

Or - if you aren't in that big a hurry, wait a couple of days. Its like buying a concert ticket, or trying to get into the big game. If you don't care about getting the front row seat, sit back and wait til the crowd is gone and walk right up to the ticket window. You can get your shot in a couple of weeks that way. But then of course, you dont have anything to bitch about - and for the TateHaters across the board, that would ruin your day.

Still not getting it.

No problem getting an appointment at my local health department for this Monday morning. Went online at 1:30 AM this morning and was finished 15 minutes later.

At least now the MSDH website is showing which locations have slots available on the front page before people waste their time. There are only a few sites left taking reservations now with nothing in the central area.

Got my first jab today in Meridian. They've got it running very well with the National Guard doing the bulk of the logistics. Drove up about 10 minutes ahead of time, answered a few questions, and got stuck in less than 5 minutes. Didn't hurt a bit.

Hopefully capacity will increase quickly and other vaccines (J&J and Oxford) get approved in the next few weeks.

No, 4:46, you can't "wait a couple of days." They've shut down the vaccine appointments. It'll start all over again.

But hey, you got yours, so you're here to lecture us. (and you're WRONG)

Tater also got his, despite not qualifying. Just in time! And AHEAD of everyone else, like Dobbs.

Frat boys go first, I guess. After being a No Masker, catching it, and spreading it.

Our Governor is a hypocritical self serving POS.

When the Governor said he was not getting a vaccine a few weeks ago so he would not take it away from a more deserving person, you peeps gave him hell for that one. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

@3:14 & several other bitchers and moaners,

Y'all strike me as the kind of folks that if you were all by yourself in a remote field and an airplane dropped a sack containing $1,000,000.00 at your feet you would bitch because the sack broke, the money scattered and you had to bend your fat ass over to pick up the money.

Last week, the Madison Kroger had a sale on heavy duty Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil.

Seems a lot of folks took advantage of this promotion.

He has gained a minimum of 80 pounds since the election. That puts him in the “at risk” folks.

@7:41
Aluminum foil is completely ineffective in stopping the behavior modification waves.

So, if the dam is about to bust and you pull your finger out of the dike, did you not realize you were about to be awash in flood-water?

If Popeye's is giving away fried chicken, you reckon they ought to order more grease before placing that ad?

My understanding is it also helps in the treatment of Rosacea. (Yea I had to Google to know how to spell it)

He should make sure the vaccine is available to the elderly and sickly before taking the vaccine himself.

It's like the captain abandoning ship before all the passengers are off.

Side note to Constitution supporting Mississippians on the right or left. If our governor will take the COVID19 vaccine to sow PR points, he will DEFINITELY allow the Hwy Patrol to assist the ATF in their mission to disarm you once President Harris signs her executive orders. Someone, or all of us, need to ask him about this.

Anonymous said...

Except the governor does not give orders to the highway patrol.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
