Mississippi State Veteran's Home residents are going to get their Covid-19 vaccines Saturday.
The Mississippi Veteran's Affairs did not receive any vaccines because the State Veteran's Homes were classified at a lower priority. CVS was responsible for delivering the vaccine to the homes. CVS told WAPT it mistakingly gave the homes a lower priority. CVS contacted the agency and is delivering the vaccines.Sometimes media attention is a good thing. ;-)

Thanks, KingFish for spotlighting this. I'm a Vietnam veteran who served in the US Army 1969-1070 @ Quang Tri & Phu Bai. I don't use the V.A. for anything, but, appreciate them taking care of veterans.
Great news for our veterans!
Thank you KF
Pickering will grab the mic and take credit. Whatever, the oversight has been corrected. Now, about those folks in Madison being told they have to travel to either Greenville or Natchez for the vaccination....
