Scrubbed due to 30 knot winds. Yesterday's Transporter1 mission is posted below.
Watch the SpaceX SN9 (not to be confused with Sn1 or Sn2) launch streamed live below.
The Everyday Astronaut reports on his Youtube channel:
SpaceX will be conducting a 12.5 km test flight of their SN9 prototype vehicle. This flight will be a repeat of the largely successful SN8 test flight, with some possible minor flight profile changes.
SN9 will lift off from Boca Chica, Texas under the power of its three Raptor engines. The Raptor engines will shut off one by one during ascent to decrease loads and acceleration on the vehicle. At apogee, the single Raptor engine still burning will initiate the vertical-to-horizontal flip before shutting off. SN9 will make use of its body flaps to keep it stable during descent. Prior to landing, SN9 will ignite two of its Raptor engines to reorientate (KF: reorientate?) itself back into a vertical position and perform a propulsive landing.
The window is between now and 6 PM.
Update (4:15 PM): Launch is scrubbed. However, SpaceX managed to launch the Transport1 mission yesterday. The SpaceX stated on its Youtube channel:
SpaceX is targeting Sunday, January 24 for launch of Transporter-1, SpaceX’s first dedicated SmallSat Rideshare Program mission, from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The 22-minute launch window opens at 10:00 a.m. EST, or 15:00 UTC.
Falcon 9’s first stage booster previously supported launch of Crew Dragon’s second demonstration mission, the ANASIS-II mission, a Starlink mission, and launch of Dragon’s 21st cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9’s first stage on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
