Diesel engines have always fascinated me.
Malik is an excellent young man from a great family. We are all proud in Polkville.
This is an excellent opportunity for those mechanically inclined. Not everyone needs to go to college. People who excel at essential trades will always be in demand.
Why work when you can get free stuff from government?
Our daughter recruits/interviews for her husbands company. They have entry level positions vacant throughout the U.S.
She will advertise for vacancies (including for the Metro area), receive an application, interview the applicant on the phone, tell them they are hired, and they never show up.
They don't want to work, but they are checking off the boxes to continue their unemployment, or some other free money program.
Give a hand, not a handout.
When it was announced that Nissan was coming to Canton, the then-mayor was elated that everyone would soon have a job even the guy sitting on his front porch at 10 in the morning with a quart of malt liquor. Fast forward a few years. Guess what. That same guy is still sitting there at 10 in the morning with a quart of malt liquor. Why? Well, it ain't because he just finished the night shift at Nissan.
12:43 PM and 2:10 PM you two should get jobs yourselves.
The high income jobs of the future will require a lunchbox and a toolbox, not a college degree.

Thanks for the sage advice. I'll tell my kid to drop out of medical school, buy a toolbox and a lunchbox, and start looking for work. I'm sure she'll be better off taking your advice.
@12:23
Your kid might do better being trained how to replace spare parts on IBM's Watson.
Watson was proven to be 98% accurate in diagnosis. According to John's Hopkins, misdiagnosis by doctors and medical malpractice account for over 250,000 deaths per year in the US.
That's compared to less than 25,000 gun related homicides.
Most human doctors will likely be replaced sooner than truckers. Because despite some successful cross country trips with escorts, nothing will stop automated trucks from being hijacked by thieves.
Mississippi Ag is always looking for good diesel mechanics!
I don't care what you say, it's 2:10 for the win!
And for 12:23, the future of medicine 'round here is telling snot-nosed illegals and fat people to open wide and say Ahhh at any one of the 300 Doc-In-The-Box store-fronts in the Metro. But your daughter will get to park her silver Audi in the employee area out back.
