Six-year-old Kingston was asleep in the back of his mother’s car on Thursday, May 18, 2017, when the car was stolen from the parking lot of the Kroger on I-55 at 1:00 in the morning. Article

35 years for this POS, a million plus in costs for taxpayers, and an innocent child is now in the arms of Jesus. He and the others that killed little Kingston should be roasting in hell.
Senseless murder. Pray for his family. I hope his family knows Kingston is fine. If they are in Christ Jesus they will see him again!
He told the court he was the father of a three year old himself.
It is society's fault; we have all failed Dwan.
Wakefield's parents FAILED.
He'll be released at about 56 years old and have absolutely no idea how to reintegrate with society.
Needed to be given the death sentence! Spineless politicians Judges & Lawyers have put this little boy in a cold, wet, dark & lonely grave. Can't you just hear the child cries for help, protection, & safety from the scum of Jackson Mississippi!!! I can.
This can't continue.
Black leaders stand up and protect your community!!!!!
Remember little Kingston Frazier.
Just like so many others. He will basically live from the cradle to the grave, fed and sheltered by the taxpayers.
Hate to be contrary but this guy didn’t kill anyone. He made the
17-year-old mistake of not immediately reporting the killer. Some
might say that anyone might have to take the time to gather his wits before
reporting on someone who had just killed an innocent kid and who
might likely also kill the reporter as well. He fucked up as many an
adolescent might do. And he should serve some time for doing this.
However 35 or 40 years is overkill. He will end up serving about the
same amount of time that the actual killer serves. Fair?
@3:35
Are you just assuming that he grew up a recipient of EBT, Medicaid, and Section 8 benefits just because he is black?
What evidence do you have that the taxpayers paid his food, healthcare, education, and housing?
This little brat and his family thought he was above the law. They haven’t showed not one once of remorse. Now he is learning he will be held for his actions and the role he played. He won’t witness his son grow up. Karma is a funny thing, children sometimes pay for the sins of their father. The entire Wakefield family is just vile and evil. The stuff they post on Facebook. Daddy buying this lowlife a new car like he didn’t have a murder trial looming. Hey dad is that car for sale now ? Jr about to be with the big boys now!!! Sleep tight JR, someone gonna make your little light skin handsome self their new wife.
He should be hung. But, there you go again with the LITTLE KINGSTON thing. Appeal to emotion.
He will burn in hell.
Child killers have a very bad time in prison.
The law says that he should not be executed. Let him pay his debt to society. Hopefully his son turns the family name around, but I doubt it.
I’m still bothered that a murder weapon was never recovered, and the most credible testimony came from the defendant. He tried to skirt the law on multiple occasions. How do we know he wasn’t still trying to save his own ass?
Another detail is the shot grouping on the victim. The placement is odd, and I suspect that Dwan and D’Allen each took a shot in the victim’s arm as an oath. That’s why Wakefield avoided the authorities in addition to the drug activity.
@5:16 - that would be hanged, unless you are fixated on "hung."
In the old Soviet Union, the cost to eliminate such roaches was about 25 cents.
(The cost of one .22 caliber bullet paced properly at the back of the neck).
I think the the Islamic Countries can do it even cheaper.
Anyway, for the next 35 years, Wakefield better not drop the soap.
@4:31 he went to Ridgeland High School. It's a public school. So there's proof that the taxpayers paid for his education.
Wakefield is a thug. He was a danger to the citizens of the metro area. I know I feel safer with him behind bars. We should all feel safer. And to have the gall to take a trip to Mexico while out on bond was indicative of how he looks at such a serious crime. Just shrugging the murder of a child off like it's nothing. No remorse at all. None. Zero.
@ 7:39 Grammar PoPo - It's painful...but I must inform you that you're wrong in your hanged vs hung comment. From the internet:
"The standard rule for the past tense of hang is this: in almost all situations, you should use the word hung. I hung a picture of Noah Webster on the wall. After school, she hung out in the library. Use hanged when referring to a person being suspended by a rope around the neck until dead."
So...since the urchin being discussed is NOT a person, but merely a caustic amoeba, hung is entirely appropriate. You are sentenced to a week in the library, at the quiet table.
@9:27
Wakefield is a poser. Prison is going to show that. I do agree that he is a danger to any community, and should he complete his sentence I doubt that he would be a productive citizen. Maybe he’ll go back to Michigan. If any of you saw the activity among his peers on Twitter, you’d want them all to be detained. A bunch of heathens. Even the newly single mother, who has to raise the child not to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Finally, all of the shenanigans on social media came from the elders and associates in his camp. If you look at the pictures he was clearly used as a prop. His father was arguably the biggest detriment in bonding him out, and wasting potential commissary funds on a cruise (and one of the worst legal strategies this decade).

That's the law. It goes back to the parking lot when they stole the car. Have a feeling if your 6yo child was abducted and shot in the head, you would want all three to get the max.
8:35 pm You are quite right and even now, justice is cheap in many countries with a "strong man" system (whatever name you call the person or family or party in continuous power) or in a country with one official religion that either has the power or is rewarded for supporting the party in power.
And, since laborers are always needed, those countries know having an uneducated class is important so the country can be selective in who can and can't get an education. So as not to miss needed skills, China takes smart children from their homes early... before their poor families ruin them.
But, the downside is you don't even have to commit a crime to end up dead or in a prison. You just have to compete for power, be a threat to power ( however minor), own something those in power want for themselves or have a different religion or be born to the wrong family.
Of course, even if you attend every event to praise your " Dear Leader" or to worship appropriately, some neighbor who doesn't like you or wants what you have, might accuse you. But, given electronic advances, surely government will know your every thought and deed before long so maybe that risk will be reduced.
If you were attempting sarcasm, please know that many commenters will miss it. They can't see that freedom isn't free or without risk.
They don't " get" that in countries like Russia and China and N. Korea that don't have very high taxes if any,the citizens make up the difference in high wages, high housing, high utilities and high food costs.
He'll serve less than 7 years.
@2:34 AM - you make a valid point. Exception noted.
All blame due the trio of miscreants, but let's not forget that this poor child was left in the car in a grocery store parking lot very late at night/morning. His mother left the car running and her small defenseless son asleep in the back seat. Did she literally have no one to help her if she did, in fact, need to be out buying groceries that late?
I know life is tough. Being stupid can make it even more difficult. Why will no one stand up and decry the plague of "family-less" children? These people of all colors and races who breed like animals with no concern for the stability of their own flesh and blood??? Lots of strong men and women who make a go at parenting alone...but look at any credible research/statistic. Children are much better off when they live in a 2-parent home. GENERALLY better off: emotionally, educationally, financially, etc. Go down the list.
8:40 - At the risk of receiving either a scathing retort from the Blog Admin or the wrath of his censorship radar: I've probably posted on this blog forty times that the mother shares guilt. My posts have ranged from her being complicit to her being simply negligent. At first I believed her to have been part of the conspiracy to abduct and off the kid. She had left a club after partying til midnight. Who knows where the kid was while she was swilling drinks.
Then she claimed to have scooted over to Kroger for cold medicine but had no product nor receipts nor was there video of her shopping for 45 minutes while the deed was done. Nobody came to her defense other than her family (none of who were there) and, or course, The Kingfish.
If a parent can be jailed for their child dying in a hot car, why should she not have been before a grand jury, at least. The answer is lazy and incompetent prosecution. Period.
I'll say it. The mother's negligence and stupidity led to the child's death. The trio is getting what it deserves from the criminal justice system but the mother gave them the opportunity to take advantage of her stupidity. It wasn't even hot that night. I remember being outside around 10 that night, it was fairly cool, I think the weather report I checked for that night later said it was in the 60's.
Her damn birthday party could've waited until the weekend or when the kid wasn't in school, not celebrating on the kid's school night at 1 AM.
Then there is the question of why the cop on detail wasn't outside.
Aviation mishap investigators call this "the cheese holes lined up."
8:40 AM certainly brings up some theories worth considering, though those horses have left the barn.
As a retired criminal investigator, I would offer that if babymomma was complicit, the now convicted perps would have given her up in a heartbeat, i.e. no honor among felons.
However, maybe this outcome was what she hoped/fantasized for.
For that child that night, the cheese holes lined up.
RIP little one.
So sick of folks blaming the mother , lets blame the person whose car they were driving. Anyone know who owns the car? Why would you allow 3 kids to be driving around Jackson all hours of the night. If that person haven’t given them the keys to their car. They wouldn’t have had the opportunity to murder Kingston. So the owner of the car that Wakefield drove to Kroger is now an accomplice to the murder, lock they butts up too. What is equally disgusting is that this ghetto family of his mainly the father is still on Facebook , now with shirts saying justice wasn’t done. He is acting like his son is the one who is dead. Now got shirts saying free da kid. This family need to take a long look at themselves. What if the shoe was on the other foot and Jr’s son was the one that was murdered. Would they want the shooter in jail and not the driver ? They are the reason their child is in jail. They never held him accountable and they still aren’t !!! Justice was served and it was served for Kingston. If you are still blaming the mother of Kingston then blame the owner of the car Wakefield was driving , blame all the boys parents , put all of them in jail .
@12:45 the car was in possession of a family member (also a minor at the time one female). However the vehicle belongs to the same woman that walked him in when JPD had him surrounded. She is the mother of the minor female, who’s older brother (the son of H. A.) is doing time for raising hell in Ridgeland.
As far as I know those two females were questioned and had their phones entered into evidence. I agree that all parents involved have met the minimum standard for proof of negligence, but I disagree with them being accomplices until it has been proven. Demanding restitution is plausible.
Good grief! His dad is nuts!!! He’s posting about innocence and how cool Jr. was going to school “with $5,000 racks” when he was 13. When will this dad WAKE UP and realize Madison County isn’t his enemy, rather his idea of what makes a man is his enemy. Obviously, money, or bragging about money (insert huge eye roll), didn’t teach your boy to be a man or to know right from wrong. Any kid exposed to the thug lifestyle that his dad projects didn’t just make one innocent mistake. He was born into the mentality courtesy of his family. His family failed him. He participated in the kidnapping and murder of a child. Now, he gets to pay the price.
What's a '$5,000 rack'?
Weird
In that vernacular a rack is equal to a thousand. If young Wakefield had five thousand thousands, he was moving more than dime bags. His father is clearly delusional. The man stretched himself thin procreating out of wedlock, and waited too late to take a proactive stance. The scary thought is that he has siblings that have a 50% chance of being just as stupid.
@4:10am- According to daddy’s FB post/pic, it’s hundred dollar bills from shoulder to hand. In that same post dad references the time when they were stealing cars and hurting people... when Jr. was 13. (I think that’s what he said, the grammar is horrific!) Yet, he argues continually Jr. made ONE poor choice and was railroaded by the white man in Madison.
Those used cars on FB aren’t equaling tons of cash. Poppy has a side hustle. The used car biz is a pitiful cover.
