How to Shut Down a Shout Down

A Congressman gives a lesson in how to shut down a protestor.

I think he did a very good job of changing the situation. As I watched yesterday I noticed the protesters were all women and they were shouting during the hearing. Am I the only one that noticed they were all women and what is going on these days with women protesting everything our current president does?

Lol. This just shows how the crazy Dems have become unhinged. Hats off to the auctioneer.

It’s extraordinarily undignified and unprofessional for the gentleman from Missouri to behave in such a manner. But I would expect nothing less from Republicans these days.

Clever, funny. I guess the gentleman from the Show Me State showed her.

I'm genuinely curious if this activity of disrupting hearings is a healthy form of debate and/or protest or if we are seeing the first sparks of ignition for a hot civil war in America.

Right now we have half a nation that believes that the president is illegitimate and any appointees and executive orders should be nullified.

And we have the other half of the country thinking that the former half is treasonous and are subverting a lawfully elected president.

Funny!

The Dems are unhinged.

The Dems, liberals, and their ilk are deranged little cry babies. They think screaming, shouting, and disrupting people is the way to get their voices heard. Technically it is heard, but no one is listening and taking them seriously.

7:42 AM - Cheerless this morning? I believe this is one of the funniest things I've seen in days. The constant interruptions by a few loud mouths who get tickets to the Kavanaugh hearing from someone(!?) have been distracting and certainly uncivil. There are many, like me, who want to watch and learn and these few are all about something else. Protesting inside the National Capital should be abolished. Their freedom of speech should stop when within the halls of Congress. The Congressman from Missouri shut her out and did it with quick effective humor.

@Anonymous I was just scratching my nose

And this is how dumb Republicans have become, she's a far-right blogger. She's yelling for Trump to save the Country from Twitter infringing conservative rights.

Washington DC is disrespectful joke. This freedom of speech right is over done.
The right of the majority is being taken away by a bunch of loud mouth left Antifa anarchist!

@ 7:42...

Yea, you liberals love to dish it out, but its not so much fun when you get a good dose.

Let me share a secret with you. We "anti-liberals" are happy to play this game anyway you want it played. We can be respectful, reasonable and have civil exchanges. But, we understand how much you hate us and will have no problem providing whatever upstaging is necessary to crush you.

Obstruction of justice.

KF,
That was great. Thanks for sharing.
We need more guys like the distinguished gentleman from Missouri.

In reply to 7:42, Frankly, I don't care which side she was/is on. I don't like anyone in the audience interrupting the proceedings. Have always considered spectators to be guests and not participants. You are probably right regarding her being on the right; she was well dressed.

Can't you idiots claiming she is a Democrat do ANY homework before you post? she is a far right wing advocate. Good Lord. On another note, why is absolutely no one reporting on the trial of RSS which began yesterday in NIKNAR county and began with a 5 hour shit show of motions?

What are they going to fight with? Video game controllers, selfie sticks, and dildos? These people are all talk and wouldn't last a day without twitter and Starbucks.

The Hate America crowd is very active in Washington D.C. with all of these hearings. No matter how much good America does, it's never enough. No matter how many wrongs have been righted by her noble people, the Hate America crowd is never satisfied.

I welcome the next civil war 8:09. Time to get this over with.

This is the very SAME that lead a rally in DC, the SAME lady at the SC hearing, the SAME lady will always continue to come up from now on....She is a pain in the ass probably has a terrible employment record.

Look, Trump is pretty headstrong and does things in an unorthodox way we can all be clear of that. But he won because people were tired of the prior ways of just going along which got us in trade messes and unable to stand up to situations. If we get a 10% better trade deal with Mexico and Canada more power to us. We have just taken to much stuff for to long. I think that these Supreme Court hearings are necessary but as soon as someone shouts out drag them out and jail them for a week. They can't even ask a question.
I don't doubt that people are grumbling in the administration because they have never had to deal with this type of person. But be sure that sometimes doing it a certain way because everyone before did it that way is not always correct.

"If there is a lesson in all of this it is that our Constitution is neither a self-actuating nor a self-correcting document. It requires the constant attention and devotion of all citizens. There is a story, often told, that upon exiting the Constitutional Convention Benjamin Franklin was approached by a group of citizens asking what sort of government the delegates had created. His answer was: "A republic, if you can keep it." The brevity of that response should not cause us to under-value its essential meaning: democratic republics are not merely founded upon the consent of the people, they are also absolutely dependent upon the active and informed involvement of the people for their continued good health." - Dr. Richard Beeman, Professor of History, Univ. of Penn.

@10:40AM
American Hubris when confronted with a violent foe has more often than not turned out poorly for this nation. This is especially true when confronting communists. It would be very foolish to assume that the pink haired transgendered college pot heads are indicative of what might someday be executing 'bourgeoisie' and 'counter-revolutionaries' in the streets. Most likely after the breakdown, it will be hardened revolutionary forces from outside the USA doing most of the fighting in the streets.

Consider that the powerful forces fomenting the civil unrest and paying the protestor will likely have an alternative plan to their current obese, unreliable footsoldiers who are obsessed with Harry Potter and will need their daily hormones.

From exactly where?

Some examples of hardened Marxist revolutionary groups that could be brought into the continent US are ZANU-PF, EFF, and the PSUV. FARC has been publicized as dissolving, but many report they are still well armed and dangerous. There are numerous Marxist revolutionary forces operating all over the world.

Some of the groups I've mentioned are suspected to be receiving financial support from Open Societies Foundations, Open Societies has been reported as paying the screaming protestors in the Kavenaugh confirmation hearings.

The woman in this video is not affiliated with Open Societies.

The Open Society Foundation either directly operates of directly funds in Jackson Mississippi through the following organizations according to their website:

The Mississippi Center for Justice
One Voice
Mississippi Workers Center
Southern Echo
and Mississippi Economic Policy Center

Open Society Foundation is the new vector for the spread of Marxism in the 21st century.

You're delirious @1:00 PM if you think Marxists are going to be brought into this country from Africa and Venezuela to fight in our streets. It may be your wet dream but that stain on your trousers is all that will result.

Anonymous said...

Here is as an example, and looking at the history of how these revolutions took place in the past (Russia, Cuba) only a small armed force will be needed seize power in the beginning.

A completely hypothetical scenario would be if a revolutionary Marxist were to be elected mayor of a state capital, or even the state governor. You also get Marxists elected to various other positions of power within a government. You appoint remaining fellow Marxists to every head of government within your power.

When you get these chess pieces into the right positions of power, a small paramilitary group could initiate a false-flag attack, facilitating the declaration of Martial Law.

With the population under Martial Law and those in a position of power are carefully selected, the transition takes place with minimal initial resistance.

Southern Echo. I knew they were in on it this whole progressive change business. Kingfish you need to do some digging on these groups. I've had dealings with them and knew something was off.

@1:53PM
I see you've studied your Rules for Radicals!

Rule 5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

Interesting that a question was asked, an answer was given, but no counter arguemtnwas made. A response of ridicule is not an argument.

Anonymous said...

Amazing that the left truly believe they will prevail in a "hot" civil war. They will not last 6 days. Maybe the necessary cleansing needed.?

@2:53PM
I don't know about the national level, but here locally we could soon have a rosy cheek doughboy tater tot for our leader. I'm not so filled with confidence when I gaze upon the future leadership on the right.

On the other side locally, you have to son of a tested Marxist radical. Their side has celebrated leaders of the violent Marxist underground of the 1960's and 1970's. Many of those radicals are tenured professors now.

Never underestimate your enemy.

This is a interesting long post on HOW protesters are handled in Congress.

One by one, the protesters, many wearing T-shirts that say "I am what's at stake," interrupt the proceedings by shouting slogans like "You're making a mockery of democracy!" or "Senators: Do your jobs and stop this hearing!" The police then warn that he or she will be arrested for any further disruptions. Minutes later, the person shouts again and is hustled out a side door.
Then another person repeats the process.
Eventually, the back two rows of the hearing room, which are reserved for the public, are empty, and another 20 or so visitors are escorted in from a line outside. They wait for their turn to shout and be arrested.
Overall, 70 people were arrested Tuesday and charged with disorderly conduct on the first day of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings. The second day of hearings on Wednesday was marked by the same sort of shout-and-arrest pattern.
The Capitol Police can't close the room to the public and can't keep out people who look like they might disrupt the hearing. So there's no choice but to let everybody in and wait for them to misbehave before removing them.
The protesters are part of a nationwide campaign to disrupt the confirmation process. A broad coalition of activist groups, including abortion rights groups, gun control organizations and labor unions, has converged on Washington. The demonstrators fear that Kavanaugh's confirmation would shift the Supreme Court's balance for years on issues like abortion rights, LGBT freedoms and gun control.
"My goal is for this nomination to not go through," said Alison Dreith, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri, who was arrested Tuesday. "The stakes have never been higher."
It may be a quixotic goal. Republicans have the votes to confirm Kavanaugh and are expected to do so. The protesters are adding their voices to the outnumbered committee Democrats, who tried to delay the hearings, arguing that important documents about Kavanaugh have been withheld.
Dreith acknowledged that the numbers are on Kavanaugh's side but said she and other protesters are hoping to bolster Democrats on the committee and possibly sway one or two Republicans. They are also conducting phone call campaigns in each senator's home state.
At the very least, the protests managed to annoy one prominent Republican on the committee. Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch, after being interrupted by a woman in the crowd, snapped: "I think we should have this loudmouth removed. We shouldn't have to put up with this kind of stuff."
President Donald Trump even weighed in on the interruptions. In an Oval Office interview Tuesday with The Daily Caller, he called the protests "embarrassing for the country" and wondered why the disruptions were allowed to continue.
"In the old days, we used to throw them out. Today, I guess they just keep screaming," Trump said.
Dreith said she and the other arrestees were hustled down to the building's basement while wearing plastic zip-tie handcuffs and kept in a garage-like holding area. After about five hours, they were charged and released after waiving their right to a trial and paying a $35 fee.

Sigh...
Yes, we are at risk tyranny from either Marxists or fascists or just idiots with no plan for making government more functional.

We are more at risk when our citizens are divided and so obviously poorly informed and naïve and selective in the information they examine.

We are more at risk when we are more interested in the money in our pockets than in national security and freedom and liberty for all.

We are in this sad state of affairs because so few of our citizens bother to see who is lying and who is telling the truth and choose instead to place their trust in the selective sources that appeal to their egos and to their pocketbook and to their emotions. The fanatics of both parties are operating under the silly notion that one side, one man, one group is always right and never wrong.

There will be no " savior". We have to save ourselves by being better citizens.

What is stunning is that so many of you are believing such obvious lies that are so easily checked. And, you believe a compulsive liar can be trusted, be it one in office or the media. Most of you are believing in far fetched conspiracies and ignoring real threats that are known.

If you want to see who is putting our country in jeopardy, the easiest way is to look in the mirror and ask yourself if you have examined the facts given by all sides, if you actually are well educated on an issue, if you know whether your source has any reason to know something about the issue and if you are just basing decisions on emotions or what you want to believe or blind trust .

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
