Getting to be a common occurrence. It will surprise none when one or both are found dead.

Attempted suicide? And what was the deal with his brother? This is beyond distressing.

Wasn't he just released from a rehab facility in Clarksdale yesterday? Sounds like he has a serious problem.

Winners, both.

It's not gloating but many saw/heard trouble coming years ago about those two brothers.

They are the Kardashians of Lafayette County.

I can't remember the details, but this brother was up in the Delta somewhere singing or playing in a band just recently.

You don't have to be a fan or not a fan of any school to easily see these two brothers have serious problems. I hope someone gets them both help and soon.

He needs to hang on a little longer, little brother will soon be able to throw him a bone or two. Little brother is probably good for five years or so before bankruptcy.

People's hearts of full of something this Christmas season. I'm sure you'll all be in church this weekend.

People's hearts just recognize the reality; two spoiled brats that have been held up to be Gods of the Grove. Allowed to do anything they wanted with no consequence. But they were also teenagers - a deadly combination.

Hope it doesn't turn out to be literally such, but at the current rate it looks like that might be the final result. Unless, of course, someone is actually able to make a drug that does allow men to fly.

All 3 brothers and Sunday were at the concert. Denzel sat with his father while the other 2 played on stage.

Some say spice is terribly addictive. Or they are imbibing marj laced with some powerful "flacca" (sp) out of South Florida.

Here's The Deal... said...

What? Nobody posting about the fictional medical degree the dad (Sunday) has and his key role as a UMMC Research Scientist? Move on - This is nothing more than just another example of thug recruitment by the Nutt-Freeze gang.

It's simple mathematics. If you recruit seventeen star-thugs and two of them go rotten, that's an 88% success rate. And when the NFL looks at these failed teenagers, it won't amount to JACK.

Looks like he may have overdosed on love.

Their father does not work at UMMC.

"A few years ago Ole Miss could say enough things about then but yesterday they didnt know who they are."

Are you sure about that? With respect to Denzel, Ole Miss has announced he will not be playing anymore games for the team.
..
With respect to Robert Nkemdeche, Freeze suspended him for one game. Were you one of the thousands insisting that "Freeze take serious action" against Denzel and Robert? Freeze did so by preventing two of team's most valuable players from playing in the most important game the team has been in since 1970. Of course, Denzel is a senior and can't return next year. He is being denied the option to end his Ole Miss career on a positive note. Robert is a junior and can return next year. However, he reacted to the One game suspension by declaring for the NFL draft which automatically severs his relationship with the Ole Miss football team.

Freeze statement reads: "Last week, our Athletics Director and I informed Robert that he will not be joining us for the bowl game. In addition, Robert has decided to declare for the NFL Draft, and we will continue to support him as he prepares for the next chapter in his life. I look forward to sharing with NFL general managers and scouts what a unique and talented individual he is. Robert has made an immeasurable impact on our program, and we are forever indebted to him. He and his family will always be part of the Ole Miss family."

This statement clearly expresses continued support for Robert and Freeze' desire to help him succeed in the NFL. Freeze clearly implemented punishment for Robert's actions in Atlanta. Beyond that, Freeze makes it clear that Robert is still an important part of the Ole Miss football team. Robert responded by announcing he would declare for the NFL draft. It was Robert declaring for the draft which ended his team membership.

However, even then Freeze' statement unapologetically says that he wants to help Robert succeed at the next level. He further thanks Robert for his skills and contributions as an outstanding defense player who has had a measurable impact on the Ole Miss football program.

Freeze discipline of the Nkemdeche brothers goes far beyond what other coaches such as Dan Mullen have done in similar situations. For example, when DaRunnya Wilson was arrested for using marijuana, Mullen did not suspend Wilson from a single quarter of play. Also, no other discipline measures were announced. So DaRunnya Wilson uses drugs and is not disciplined. The Nkemdeches use drugs and are disciplined so much so that they leave the team. Which coach took the stronger and more proactive stand against illegal drug use? It appears to me it was the one who was trying to help his players notwithstanding the competitive downgrade that has caused The Ole Miss football team in its arguably most important game since 1970 -- the last time Ole Miss played in the Sugar Bowl.

Freze, Freeze, Freeze. Freeze can't wipe his ass without Bjork telling him which kind of paper to use. This was Bjork's decision and he trotted Freeze out to whisper the news.

As to the goob who twice posted what Mullen has and will and won't do, check back, Sparky. Mullen is a disciplinarian while Freeze (Like Nutt before him) has done little other than grant third and fourth screw-up opportunities to multiple miscreants. They recruit these thugs and then when they act like thugs they go into seclusion to 'decide' what to do to soothe the heartache of the fan-base while salvaging the right of the thugs to continue playing.

The older boy passed out two or three times and removed himself from the team. The younger boy flew out of a fourth floor window (his third screw up) and had already decided to (attempt to) go pro. Bjork just sealed the deal for him.

Up at TSUN, they're dealing with nooses, street signs, two flags, mascots, sticks, songs and statues. How could they possibly deal with the fallout of playing this thug in the Sugar?

Now that right up there ^^^ is a hoot! Disciplined so much that they leave the team. And the person who posted it might actually BELIEVE it. Hopeless.

These two young men were impressed by an institution which would be willing to pamper them and place them on high as if they are somehow better than the rest of their wretched brethren. This stuff somehow appeals to some young black men who want to feel entitled and special. So far the strategy is working, and 4 an 5 star "studs" are lining up to party on fraternity row and be the toast of the grove, at least until their eligibility is up or they find out that there is another world out there for people who look like them and can't play football...But who cares? There are plenty more where they came from.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.

Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices.
