He will support the TRO
Betting he doesn't rule Monday.
All of HMA's money and Bryant and Hoods influence stops at the Courthouse door. God Bless America

"God BlueCross America," I think you meant to write.
Acting like *either* side is Mother Teresa is just silly.
Monday? Bwahahaha! Maybe some Monday next year.
"Blackberry smartphone" is a bit of an oxymoron.
Judge Wingate will rule for the insurance company. The State Supremes will uphold. The hospitals will continue to make the adjustments to the more competitive hospital market and to Obamacare. Governor Bryant will lose this one and try to set up a Red Cross and Red Shield company to give his version of Bryantcare to schoolteachers, retirees, and state workers.
10:03 it's in fed court. Can't be appealed to state supreme court.
It's fantasy to pretend that 'money and influence' stop at the courthouse door. Actually money and influence are just getting warmed up as both enter the courthouse.
As an example I offer the recent idiotic order regarding pistols in scabbards and the dropping of charges against drunks who coincidentally worked for another judge.
i personally hope BCBS gets whacked, even if it is these bozos doing it....it is very frustrating when one has paid for insurance from BCBS for decades w/o very few claims and then when one's doc prescribes a drug for which there is no generic yet (lyrica), BCBS of MS won't cover it, which even the doctors and nurses say is just politics and crookery since they have MS patients insured by BCBS of LA for whom they prescribe the same drug and it is covered....
this leaves me with ONE conclusion, and it has to do with the monopoly status of BCBS of MS and the total impotence and ineptitude of MID!
fwiw, i do not recall ever hearing even ONE health insurer complain about obamacare and now i know why--obama-reid-pelosi gave america over to the insurance lobby and the insurers LOVE it!
another thing i have not heard yet is ONE single person (who actually paid for insurance before obamacare) saying that they really liked what obamacare has done for them coverage-wise and premium-wise...
Calling Bullshit Again (aka 6:54am) is speaking the truth...i personally have seen astonishing judgments come out of the court system in the past 40 years, more so in the past 20--but i don't know anything else that could adequately replace it
"another thing i have not heard yet is ONE single person (who actually paid for insurance before obamacare) saying that they really liked what obamacare has done for them"
I suppose it would be irrelevant to point out that Obamacare was not aimed at or intended for people who were already paying for insurance? No? Too obvious?
Paying premiums/buying insurance doesn't get you stock in the insurer. It only provides you coverage for risk during the period you pay for. This is a complicated issue, and HMA is not entirely blameless. I would hedge on BCBS having a better legal team than their opposition. That would preclude or set aside the politics involved.

I would suppose based on your comment, no I KNOW based on your comment, that you must be a major dumb ass and Obama brown noser because whether or not the debacle known as Obamacare was not intended for people who were already paying for insurance -- and that point itself is open to debate -- it is those very people it is hammering hard and will economically harm severely.
The Affordable Care Act has nothing to do with this dispute between the Governor and Blue Cross in which the Governor's lawsuit is obviously meritless to attorneys who know the law in this area. I wish it had merit because Blue Cross of MS has got to be the worst health care insurer in the country.
Some folks think they have to denigrate the ACA in every conversation as they long for the good ole days when Blue Cross could once again abruptly cancel a child's health insurance because they contract a dreaded disease like cancer. Thank God the ACA is the law of the land and isn't going anywhere.
Anybody know the over and under on how many months it will be before the Tea lad House members break 100 regarding the number of times they vote to abolish the ACA so that we can return to the alleged good ole days?
10:38; Speaking of drugs not covered, how many of you know that BCBS considers the AMR Ambulance Service 'out of network'. As if we have a farking choice as to which ambulance shows up at our door!
I've called and written to complain to both AMR and BCBS. Both blame it on the other. However, same situation.....it's the policyholder/patient who eats the cost in the long run.
Next time you have an ambulance pick you up, be sure to get it straight whether or not they're in network with BCBS.
10:38 "fwiw, i do not recall ever hearing even ONE health insurer complain about obamacare and now i know why--obama-reid-pelosi gave america over to the insurance lobby and the insurers LOVE it!"
Correct - the ACA was based on forcing those who didn't have insurance to buy insurance, subsidized by those who previously did have their own insurance. It's a goldmine for insurance companies.
11:31 "Paying premiums/buying insurance doesn't get you stock in the insurer. "
I think you're wrong here - isn't BCBS set up as a "mutual insurance company" (I may have the exact category wrong)? My auto insurance company and my malpractice insurance company both issue refunds at the end of the year if claims paid end up being less than the money that was set aside to pay claims.
11:52 "people who were already paying for insurance -- -- it is those very people it is hammering hard and will economically harm severely"
That 85% of the population who had been happy with their insurance before Obamacare - they are the Republicans' main hope for 2014 and 2016. Watch the Dems running for re-election in 2014 start calling to postpone the individual mandate. Next they'll try to pretend they didn't vote for it in 2009.

Great examples of how the previously-insured are getting screwed are details here:

Despite all the snecdotes I haven't seen this level of details before regarding how impossible it is to navigate obamacare. This link is also currently on the JJ home page.
