Jackson City Council "President" Bryan Grizzell took a break from hanging out at the Beasley Road Totesum so he could protect Jackson from - gasp - data centers. Check out this item on the agenda:
Oddly enough, the proposed ordinance is missing from the City Council's agenda packet for tomorrow's meeting.

Somebody alert Josh McManus and "The Chandler". This is going in the wrong direction.
Jackson is, ... er, ... Rising?
Did it get the pocket veto already?
Datacenters are an upgrade to Jackson's inner-city blight.
Jackson would be so lucky if his ward was totally razed and 50 data centers were built there. What a clown. This dude eats out every single day and posts food reviews on Facebook. Makes you wonder how a public servant can afford such a luxury.
And they can’t understand why the city has reduced tax revenue
You can’t “stop” somebody from doing what they aren’t going to do anyway
No worries. Ain't shit worthwhile coming to Jackson anyway. Is that the store that sells "flicks"?
He would prefer more cannabi$ stores. (Toke-sum?)
He didn't get some of that data center palm grease?
A local AOC.
NAACP is suing data center in Southaven. I guess Grizzell just got the text that data centers are on their bad list.
They don’t want no jobs.
Well played.
Become the biggest impediment; get the biggest payoff. The Art of the Grift
I’m pretty sure data centers use tons of copper, so no one with a brain would want to put one in Jackson anyways.
More stupid than AOC, more stupid than Lumumba. Imagine that.
