The Gulf Coast is licking its chops. One hopes that Michael is smart enough to know better than to forget how republicans are first elected to and then remain in office in Mississippi. The coast, alone, will not carry a statewide office candidate.
The Republican Jacob's Ladder continues to elevate Republican officeholders, without examination of their qualifications. I'm not saying that Watson isn't qualified, but who knows if there is no primary? Michael is a fraternity Brother of mine, but I wish he would go through a primary.
Watson may not get a challenge on the GOP side, at least. He's going to be tough for anyone to beat out.
