The Brandon Police Department issued the following statement.
In the early morning hours of October 1, 2025, detectives from the Florence Police Department, working in collaboration with detectives from the Brandon Police Department, arrested Kemarius Armstrong, 25, of Pearl, MS, in connection with a series of recent auto burglaries in Brandon and Florence. The week-long investigation was a joint effort between both communities and their law enforcement agencies. Information provided by residents proved invaluable in ultimately identifying Armstrong as a suspect.During the investigation, detectives determined that Armstrong was in possession of multiple items confirmed to have been stolen during the burglaries. His arrest was the result of proactive networking and coordinated efforts between Brandon and Florence investigators. Chief Joseph French stated, “This arrest highlights the importance of strong partnerships between law enforcement agencies and members of the community. Through collaboration and information-sharing, we were able to quickly identify and apprehend a suspect responsible for victimizing members of our communities.” Armstrong was transported to the Rankin County Jail, where he faces multiple charges related to the burglaries. The case remains under investigation, and additional charges may follow. The Brandon Police Department reminds residents to always secure their vehicles, remove valuables, and immediately report any suspicious activity.

I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding and that somehow, racism is involved. Just another great future scholar, scientist, and someone else has GOT to be at fault. Good job law enforcement!
Let me guess… the valuable items included guns… and the vehicles were unlocked
Let me guess, someone on here will blame the victims. Oh wait....
@2:32 Stupid is as stupid does. The negligent gun owners should be charged too just like if their kids found the unsecured weapon and killed themself or someone else. Negligent gun owners need to lose their right to own a gun in these cases.
Once convicted, He'll be out in less than 3 years to terrorize again.
@3:00 you're right - that's exactly what happened here and is a great comparison
Transportation is a human right. How is someone supposed to live in America today without a car? Impossible. Should this young man have gone to the dealership to get hoodwinked by massive interest rates?? Some people have employment and credit limitations and resort to any means to obtain a way to get to work or church.
@3:39 I onow you are being facetious but both the former Hinds County Sheriff and current Rankin and Madison County Sheriffs have publicly acknowledged easily stolen “truck guns” from the suburbs is a huge issue that contributes massively to gun crime in the metro.
Dude looks like a stone killer, they should dig deeper into those neck tattoos
Theory of Throatus Inkus (neck tattoos) is holding strong. Gotta love it.
Criminals will get a gun if they want one. No lock or law will prevent that.
If you want to make an argument to also press charges against every criminal's mother and father for raising a thief, that is something I can support.
You don’t have to be an irresponsible and negligent gun owner and make it easier. Who do you people think you somehow have an argument for leaving your guns in your cars?
It's quite hard to take that point of view seriously when "you people" seem to want to focus on restrictions and punishments for the lawful gun owner while holding rallies to defend and support the thieves.
@10:03 who are you talking to? I have done none of the things you said except rightfully state that negligent gun owners deserve to be punished. I have never rallied for any criminal. Unlike MAGAtards who rally for a criminal! Buy a damn safe! Stop projecting!
How very open minded and liberal of you to immediately resort to name-calling and over reactions.
Calling people retarded is pathetic.
12:25...Consider the source. I don't think this is Trump's fault yet, but I have had 2 guns stolen out of a locked truck. One locked in the console, the other stuffed under the back seat...both stolen at the same time. It ain't hard to break into an F150 apparently. Besides being the victim of a crime that JPD did not give 2 shits about, now I am a negligent asshole because someone stole something from me and used it in a crime? The guns were never reported by JPD as stolen by the way. An asshole criminal will steal your shit whether it is locked or not. Glass ain't that hard to break. Cars aren't that hard to get into. People steal guns from shops, gun shows, etc. Let's start penalizing the criminals again and stop with the blaming of the victim. Some humans belong in cages. Let's do our parts to put them in one and keep them in one.
reporting since the serial #s were never reported stolen...
Why are you storing guns in your vehicle without using some sort of safe? They are a $50 investment!
5:49…The pistol was in a vault. They were nice enough to destroy it too. All this was while I was eating lunch in town on my way to camp for the weekend.
