Captain Redneck got stupid and pointed a gun at some small kids in Gluckstadt last night. Fortunately, a barrage of gunfire was not unleashed upon the family.
Developer Anthony Morrison posted a video of the incident on social media last night. Mr. Morrison owns the development where it took place. Posted below are his statement and video.
I can’t believe this guy pulled a gun..You then see them start talking. Obviously the guy with the kids took exception to the truck moving while they were walking so close. We can argue that maybe they shouldn’t have walked so close to the truck. Maybe the guy just didn’t see them. But what happened next is wild. At 1 minute into the video…The guy is outside with his kids and in NO WAY approaching the truck. In fact his back is to it. The guy in the truck pulls a gun and points it at him with 2 small children right there and a lady with an infant waking by seconds later.Absolutely wild. This is exactly how NOT to be a smart gun owner. There is 0 excuse for this because the man outside posed no threat to him. You can see him pointing at his kids constantly referencing them to the guy in the tuck.Unfortunately for the moron in the truck I own half the retail developments in Gluckstadt and have promptly moved to trespass him. If he comes back.. he goes to jail.No more Mexican food on the weekends (sorry they’re both in my developments), no more hibachi (sorry they are both in my developments).. No wing stop, Soulshine, wok won, filos, stone ground coffee, candy shop etcEssentially that’s over half the places to eat on this side of the city.Just sad behavior… small children with a gun pointed in their direction? No excuses.I’ve given Gluckstadt PD the footage and tag to make an arrest and not one that’s followed by a quick release.PS: We have tag reader cameras at every entry and exit in every development we own. So if you’re stupid and you do things like this on our property we’re gonna catch you.
Gluckstadt Police promptly arrested Captain Redneck and issued the following statement.

| Yeah buddy! 'Murica! |
On October 28, 2025, officers with the Gluckstadt Police Department were called to the parking lot of Soulshine Pizza Factory regarding a report of a subject pointing a weapon from inside his vehicle. Upon arrival, it was determined that a white male driving a Ford F-150 and the complainant had been involved in a verbal altercation. During the incident, the subject in the truck reportedly pointed a weapon equipped with a light and laser at the complainant and his two small children as they were walking in the parking lot. Officers were able to quickly obtain video surveillance and a tag number for the suspect vehicle. A short time later, officers located the truck on Church Street near U.S. Highway 51 and conducted a traffic stop. At that time, Charles Edward Burrage was taken into custody and transported to the Gluckstadt Police Department, where he was booked on three counts of Simple Assault – Attempt by Physical Menace to Put Another in Fear of Imminent Serious Bodily Harm by pointing and aiming a firearm. Thanks to the quick response and determination of our patrol officers, Mr. Burrage was located and taken into custody without incident shortly after the crime occurred.

Epic Berrage? Those custom tags are so hard to figure out unless your the police….
Guns level the playing field in a way. Fat, old men with zero athletic ability can demand respect at gun point.
7:36 Ridge Peak Roofing
Why do I know that name?
He is listed as owner of Ridge Peak Roofing. I can tell by the picture he hasn't climbed on any roofs lately. Maybe while he is in there, they can audit him and see if his laborers are paying their taxes and here legally.
The facts aside, seems the 'owner of most of Gluckstadt' has some right high thoughts about his importance.
The ridiculously short fuses people have amaze me. We've all had that annoying family/person walking around near our car and sometimes we've been that person as well.
I have no sympathy for that guy and his stupidity.
That dude needs a Brozier in a bad way.
@ 8:30 I caught that as well. Dude my own a few places, but not "half the retail developments in Gluckstadt". That in and of itself is is D-Bag statement. And, no, he doesn't "own half the retail developments in Gluckstadt". I looked him up on social media and he thinks he is WAY more important than he really is....
His IQ and his BMI are about equal.
320 pounds. What a loser.
The donuts at Stone Ground/Epic are legit.
Who pulls a gun over that after the father appears to walk off? Just a damn idiot. And, the father needs to pick and choose battles better when his kids are involved. Yes, I would have said something to the guy when he began backing up while I was walking by too, but as soon as the moron stopped and escalated it go on in the business and keep your kids safe. Don't ever, ever walk towards a person's vehicle who can view it as a threat.
Madison is lost.
Typical fat sack of shit, racist, mediocre white male, MAGAtard, gun nut. Hopefully he loses his right to own a gun over this.
Possibly related to Barrages of Neshoba County? Farm where Chaney, Schwerner, and Goodman were buried.
Have you ever noticed the people with the black tags just want to be noticed so bad and drive like jerks? We have to show how inflated our egos are on a license plate. Regardless of the extra money they raise I personally hate them and so do some of the ladies at the tax collector’s office.
Folks, look @ the 1st 4 seconds of the video. The truck taillights repeat taillights is showing the driver has put the truck in reverse. Th man is still walking straight on into the truck. At the 1:36 (5 secs) does the father realize the truck is backing up and steers the kids away from the truck. Animus aside, There is enough fault to go around on both sides.
That truck has overload springs.
Gluckstadt, not Madison, TROLL!
They know each other from prior association, business, or otherwise. Sad to see it happen, shows how crazy folks are today.
He's dirty, but he ain't Dirty Harry.
@ 9:52 that is ridiculous, no blame on the father. The truck has backup cameras and rearview mirror and the guy has a neck that he could use to turn his head and look behind him. No need to start backing up when small children are near your vehicle. Hold your foot on the brake and wait 10 seconds. This guy is just an old redneck that got what he deserves.
Nailed it. None of them can fight like men.
I have noticed when I go to Kroger shoppers totally disregard all traffic vehicles. It's like they dare you to hit them. Enough said!
How do we know he is racist? Did he say something that was racist? If no, I guess one could just assume that because he white and the victim is black.
"Gluckstadt, not Madison, TROLL!". This is what happens when poor ole little Gluckstadt has to use it's big sisters Zip Code.
I'm pretty sure pedestrians have the right of way in parking lots.
He only got 3 misdemeanor charges for pointing a gun at a whole family? How is there no enhancement for using a firearm or endangering the life of a child? Seems like he got let off a little too easy by Gluckstadt PD. Have to wonder if he knows someone in charge to get let off that easy. Why wouldn’t he be charged with something that would take the gun out of his hand, he clearly doesn’t have enough sense to own one.
I don't know how to fix it, but these rednecks are giving us rednecks a bad name.
Trust me, if Gluckstadt thinks they can make a dollar off of more charges, they will nail him for all they can. They are in the revenue collecting business at the moment as much as the protect and serve aspect of their existence.
Well at least they weren’t in Jackson, there’d be several body bags filled. That’s the only way they can function in Jacktown.
