The Clinton Police Department issued the following statement.
On Thursday, October 23, 2025, Clinton Police Department officers initiated an investigation following a narcotics complaint indicating possible drug trafficking activity. The investigation led officers to a residence located at 108 Caribbean Cove in the Cascades neighborhood.
A search warrant was executed at the residence, resulting in the arrest of one suspect and the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics, firearms, and cash.
Izmir Robinson, 44, was taken into custody and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, distribution of narcotics, and possession of a controlled substance (Schedule I) with a firearm enhancement.
Items recovered from the home included marijuana, THC wax, mushrooms, hashish, ecstasy, and narcotics paraphernalia. Officers also seized several firearms, a substantial amount of cash, and items consistent with packaging and distribution operations, such as money counters and packaging materials.
This investigation uncovered a narcotics distribution operation being conducted within a quiet residential neighborhood. The Clinton Police Department remains committed to proactively addressing drug activity, investigating narcotics complaints, and removing dangerous individuals and substances from the community.
Kingfish note: Let's see, what is this clown's record?
* Pleaded guilty to burglary in 2001
* Pleaded guilty to armed robbery in 2003.
* Pleaded guilty to convicted felon with a firearm in 2016.
The District Attorney should include a habitual offender enhancement when he seeks an indictment.

Right County, wrong City. Let's see if the Holy Owens Redemption Tent Meeting does him any favors.
" Caribbean Cove in the Cascades neighborhood". Sounds wonderful doesn't it.
Isn't Clinton a "blessings free" city?
I would NEVER use drugs but I do support legalization of drugs grown people should be allowed to make adult choices
As a longtime resident of Clinton, I really wish we were in another county.
lol

It's a nice neighborhood. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/108-Caribbean-Cv-Clinton-MS-39056/3087081_zpid/
He didn’t think all that traffic to his crib would be noticed.
A retirement community sprinkled with MC students designed and built by award winning builder JE Carter at a time when quality mattered.
The majority of residents are still retirees. Unfortunately it’s too close to the city limits of Jackson and the thugs coming in from W Northside Dr. The residents are elderly and stay on guard to protect their neighborhood.
Great booking photos as usual. This one in a dark closet?
My 84 year old aunt lives there and loves it. Right across from Traceway Park. You never know.
will this still take place

He was just trying to finish paying for the wedding on 10/4/2025 that's all
What about when those grown people get behind the wheel impaired and kill innocent people?
The Cascades has always been a retirement community for the most part. It is very nice and quiet. I'm sure the stream of Chargers and Mercedes coming to and from his residence stood out.
If that is the neighborhood with the fountain in the curve, and it seems like it is, you could get weed there in the 1980s.
Do you think the legalization of drugs would lead to more crime and homelessness? Would you be ok with your son or daughter using these drugs freely?
Cascades is right across the road from the Clinton ball park and the last neighborhood before the long stretch on Northside Drive before getting to the Dollar Tree and Flag Chapel road.
Hope they get the flight logs from the private plane they flaunt in their love story photos!
