Why do all the subdivisions look like former cow pastures? Why are there no trees in Madison
Talk about some Karen's.
Wow! This is really fantastic! Everyone has a voice in Madison County! This way, The SUPVS cut down on year round bitching and provide the citizenry a one shot complaining opportunity. I can here it now " Well I didn't see where you voiced your opinion when you had the opportunity at our MCPOA "feel good reach around", (I mean out) opportunity?
Will they answer them all or do a selected few? I'm betting on the easy way out with the soft questions.
If only they would publish ALL of the questions, even if they don't answer them. But it says they will cherry pick 5.
"Why do all the subdivisions look like former cow pastures"?
Very simple lil' one.
At one time those subdivisions were cow pastures.
The subdivisions were built on former agricultural areas.
The first thing that farmers do is to clear the land so they can cultivate whatever products they hope to cultivate.
Cattle, row crops, Dairy Farms, cotton, soybeans and such.
Trees tend to get in the way of these endeavors.
The conditions in Jackson forced an exodus from that town. (Black and White)
It was a "Win Win" for the developers and the farmers in Madison County.
Next question.
This is what's known as government holding a town hall meeting in order to foster the appearance of actually giving a shit. All that's missing is 'refreshments will be served'.
They want to make the whole county into a giant HOA. I would never buy a house in a subdivision with a HOA.
HOA officers are important people. Just ask one. They never made the team or got selected as cheerleaders, but they have finally arrived.
This could turn out to be a Mayberry episode - While the town folk and officials are on one side of town, the bank on the other side is robbed. And Goober unintentionally saves the day.
8:32 How's your "voice" working out for you in Hinds Co, Jackson area?
I believe it is an attempt by the MCPOA to pose questions to the Supervisors that the community would like answers too since not many of us are able to attend the board meetings.
