The residents are doing a better job than the police.
Blunt force trauma........ secondary to covid
What is the record per person for a 150K city?
So people will protest against police but the incompetent mayor and city council get a free pass?
With one of the worst response rates in the state to the census, Jackson's woes will be going from bad to worse.
8:50 - and just what would you have the "incompetent mayor and city council" do to stop all these murders? You are so typical of many if not most in our society who look to the government for solutions to everything. These murders are being committed by a segment of our society that has lost all respect for others and themselves, and their ain't a damn thing the mayor or the council can do about that.
So sad. I've been told JPD has the budget to hire far more officers, so what's the hold up? The Mayor? The City cannot solve the social issues leading to all of the senseless deaths, but it can saturate the City with officers to deter murders and actually solve them.
This place is slowly becoming like Rome. We already have our Caesar figure so all we need is a smaller version of the coliseum built next to the zoo where we have lions, tigers and bears. I mean, the movie theaters are going Tango Uniform.
So now, after 3+ months they can open an investigation, which to no surprise, has no suspects currently.
What Jackson needs is a $10,000,000 grant from the Justice Department to study this problem. Cha ching.
Any idea on why there's a 2 and 3 month delay in notification?
