The food at Bullies is just good old Soul food. Yes, it is probably full of stuff that has the ability to clog your arteries, but Murder? That's pushing the "Eat for your health" agenda a bit far, isn't it?

It’s a who you know game is Jackson. This is totally unfair to the victim. Her father is long time constable John Brown and there is no way anyone accused of murder should be out in less than an hour. Praying for justice for the victim and praying the new DA Jody doesn’t put politics over justice.

I’m not shocked at all!!!!! This woman has been evil all of her life. She has a little money and clout!!! She probably was caught with someone’s significant other or maybe karma has come back around to serve her. She may have caught her significant other dishing her what she’s always dished!!!! This is shocking. There is no mention of it on the news. She must got some friends pushing for this to be hush hush. The media hands need to be held to the fire so they can report on this story. I want to know who was the victim ? Was her arrest related to one of the killings in Jackson recently? Was this a lifetime movie type situation and she killed her husband’s lover? Like we have questions that need answers. The media reports every other killing why not this one ? Is it because the murderer is well known ?

It usually takes several hours to go through booking and get bonded out on even the most minor charge in Hinds County. At least they could make it look like equal treatment just for appearances sake...but not in Hinds County, not now, they couldn't care less about appearances. It's all about who you know...

Hopefully, the case will be moved out of Hinds County. The true story will never be accepted if it stays because her father’s influence will be credited if she gets off innocent or not. The deceased family will never have peace if they believe there was no true justice based on professional and personal relationships. Greta is the only one who truly knows what happens and her version without truly unbiased investigation would by nature be self-serving.

The report is that the alleged "victim" was shot while breaking into a business owned by Ms. Bully. The alleged victim has described as a homeless man with an extensive criminal history and mental illness. The report also concludes that Ms.Brown was alone at her business and was "aggressively approached" by the unknown individual.

All I've reported is what is on the books. JPD issued no statements. No mention of a murder was made on twitter as the usual practice is. JPD isn't talking to the media about it, at least not yet. The victim's name has not been released but she was released on a low bond.

She didn't even have to go through an actual hearing but instead Shamsid-dunce allowed her to post a low bond on a phone call.

The whole story will be reported as it comes out.

Report that Ms. Bully shot an intruder is correct. Sources within Jackson Police Department says she was only arrested and charged because JPD did not want to be accused of favoritism because of her dad.

She still out thousands for bond. If she is justified because of castle doctrine, she shouldn't have to break her bank paying 10% of the bond amount

The fact that she received bail after shooting him with one gun and retrieving a second one from her car and shooting him again is criminal. But as her supporters say we don’t know the entire story. I’m sure the continued presence of a mentally ill-homeless man was killing her business. She surely feels justified.

So, actually she just promised to come back to court and didn’t have to pay anything. The money only comes in if she fails to appear for court.

The homeless problem on Northside Dr. has gotten out of hand. The city needs to take some sort of action.

If she did in fact shoot him with one gun and then go get another and shoot him again, that's murder. I don't have the facts, though that's what I've read. If he was unarmed and she shot him in the back, that's also murder.

I don’t know what happened cause I wasn’t there. But I know this woman and I know she’s as good as gold. She wouldn’t drop anyone unless threatened.

Here are the undisputed facts, as I understand them:

1) A woman was processed into a detention center around 2:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning, charged with murder.

2) A Jackson municipal judge, by telephone, set her bail sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 3:40 a.m.

3) Around 3:40 a.m., less than two hours after being booked, the woman charged with murder walked out of the detention facility.

Those basic facts smell bad on multiple levels.

Yep... I was under the impression that the respectful mayors repeal of open carry law was going to cure this disrespect of human life. I’ll check back in a few weeks and see how it’s working out.
