That graph is misleading because it will always go up. A better graph would show new cases per day
10:37- I don't know about misleading. It might not tell the whole story, but it's not misleading.
The outcome of the case is death. Covid caused deaths is a different number, which we don't know.
Actually 50 have died in MS and about 102 of the 334 need the icu as of 10:00 am 04/06/20. If the dept. won't say it I will.
So far this flu season (influenza), there have been 45 million flu illnesses, 300,000 hospitalizations and 46,000 deaths
Oh my gawd, we’re all gonna die!
@2:20: Yup, someday. Also think we may be a tad short of the 10,000 predicted infected for Easter, but hey, stranger things have happened before.
@10:37 New cases per day would have the same shape of the graph as they are increasing each day as well.
As I read the wide range of responses over many days it's very interesting to me to note people's assessment and attitudes toward what's coming and the demographic that's likely most impacted.
In particular, my curiosity is raised concerning ACA. Republicans were beating the drum about death panels for Grandma. It looks like we don't need to fear government death panels but our own neighbors, countrymen, and relatives.
The government is bending over backwards to _save_ Grandma and most here are too busy digging her grave.
