Hood will be a much better Governor than Tate Reeves. Make Mississippi Great Again. Vote for Hood.

Don't see a platform of tax increases, open borders, higher unemployment, gun control, amnesty for illegal aliens, partial birth abortions, abolishing ICE and hating Trump getting Hood elected.

I thought Hood for Guv'nah was announced yesterday?

The Ganuchump wizzed his pants in excitement.

If the choice is Hoodie or Tater....... not much of a choice.

if you ever want to know whats in the minds of the low class, low brow, low information con-artist hillbilly voters of Mississippi just come to this blog.

The Democratic party no longer represents me so I can’t vote for him. I didn’t leave the Democrats, they left me.

I don’t see a platform of better wages, better schools, fighting institutional corruption, and common sense getting Hood any votes in this state.

Hood's complaints for years have been what the Legislature passed in the 2018 special session. Outside a teacher pay raise, which is (allegedly) supported by GOP leadership, what is his platform?

Wow. Those comments have allowed MS to be dead last in every category for the last 30 years.

I think Mississippi can see what the problem is...it’s people who divide us....just like you.

I’m with Jim....what else do we have to lose?

Hood ... the guy that brought Google, Exon & RSS to their knees

Anonymous said...

I'm not voting Hood.

Anonymous said...

12:38, please document where/when has said he favors any of those things.

Anonymous said...

I saw a lot of hoods in the MS Democrat Party in the 60's.

@12:38

Looks like Infowars is leaking.

Dickie Scruggs and friends trying to get back in the saddle. Jim Hood and Lynn Fitch are the perfect fools for them.

Anonymous said...

So 12:29, you want to start the whole state down the path leading to a Jackson type society?

California is looking for people like you to help support the ideas of Pelosi, Waters, Boxer and Feinstein!

So why are you here?

ROFLMAO

Jim Hood: Mississippi, I'm for common sense.

Average Voter: Mr. Hood, what does that mean?

Jim Hood: I don't know but I'm for whatever it means.

I think 12:38 PM, is right. But even if he isn't, he's not crazy. Where in America is there room for an independent-thinking Democrat? What are his model Democrats? JFK, Jimmy Carter? When was the last time a Democrat actually cared about America?

Put a mullet on one of the Campbell's Soup kids and you have Hood.

Put a red clown wig on an empty suit and you have Potato.

This is what we call a no win situation.

I'm voting Harper 2019 :)

Reeves watches Hannity every night to be told what he should stand for.

Hood watches Hannity every night to be told what he should stand against.

Mississippi leadership.

3:17 Go to the graveyards of our veterans and law enforcement and you'll see when some Democrats cared about America. People like you need to keep your divisive opinions in the toilet if you accuse others of treason who don't share your narrow
political opinion. I identify with the Republicans but I know many Democrats who love this country but disagree with me on many political issues. That's what WE
love about America.

Two horrible choices-Hood and Tate Reeves. I wish Stacy Pickering would run at least we could be down the middle of the road with him.
Hood is going to try and cram a tax increase on the so called rich Mississippi people ($35,000 and Up) so he can do a teacher pay raise and increase Medicare spending. All he has ever known is sue easy targets to look like he has done his job. Just hope Mike Moore doesn't run again.

This will be as screwed up as the Senate race, watch Espy win that after McDaniel draws 15% of the vote. Espy will rely on Bennie's Delta to win him the seat.

At 3:17 as much as republicans hate the Clintons Bill was one of the best. He was fiscally responsible and left Bush with a surplus, not a deficit. The last president to balance the budget. Instituted Welfare Reform which no Republican President has done and will not do no matter how much they say they hate it b/c they know their base relies on it. He was essentially more republican than Republicans. NAFTA the sweetheart deal (received overwhelming support from Republicans) for corporations, yep signed by Bill (although it began with Reagan FTA).

what exactly can Hood do about Medicare?

Sho Nuff said...

@4;18, you Clinton worshipers are delusional, to say the least. The national debt was 5.7 trillion dollars when Bush 43 took office. How did Clinton leave a surplus? My question to all those wailing, and gnashing teeth over this debt, is what does it matter? This country is moving more, and more toward socialism. What will happen, in the near future, when most jobs, blue, and white collar, are performed by machines? This is not a fantasy, this is a coming reality. Some, that don't have tunnel vision, or in the stupor caused by the two party political system, see what is coming for the near future of humanity. The lack of sources to earn personal income will slowly vanish. This will require a living wage to be given, yes given. Think on that for a while.

4:18....a surplus?

I love Dim-O-Krat ciphering.

If you have $5000.00 in the bank and "owe" the IRS $10,000.00, you don't have a surplus.

You can put it on paper and wave it around, but you're still in the hole.

Anonymous said...

If you really like remaining 50th in every metric that matters, then vote for Tate. Just what has he accomplished in all of his years in public office?

Anonymous said...

Tell us @8:11 specifically what Hood will do to get us moving up in the various metrics you haven't defined and, importantly, how he will pay for it?

Buddy Hackett said...

He can want in one hand and crap in the other. We’ll see which one fills up fastest.

Anonymous said...

5:16...at least acknowledge the truth. I'm a lifelong republican, but when Clinton left office, federal revenues exceeded expenditures by a large amount. This was mainly driven by internet bubble stock market gains and option redemptions, but you can't just rewrite history. We were running a surplus.

And he left office reasonably popular.

George Flaggs For Governor!

During the Obama years, the Dow went from 6,000 to 18,000. Trump inherited a strong economy and takes 100% credit for it.

Yea i grew up in Neshobia county in the 50s and 60s ,lots of democratic Hoods there.

Sho Nuff said...

@5:59, I have no problem with truth, fact of the matter, I love truth. I'm not familiar with common core math, but back many, many years ago, when I learned math, you couldn't have a debt of 5.7 trillion, and call it a surplus. This country hasn't been out of debt since 1933. Just how ignorant are you people? Are you so simpleminded to believe that nothing mattered before Clinton? I don't care what political party you give your allegiance to, the debating of the national debt from either side is the height of hypocrisy. None of the streetwalkers in Washington will do what is necessary to correct the debt problem. That problem is the Federal Reserve system. Have you ever wondered, you probably haven't, how it is that all these Presidents get to use executive orders for whatever reason? That power is reserved for national emergencies. What national emergency are we facing? The one that is listed, to give this power, is a financial one. Would you care to guess what it is?

I just wanted someone to know that the CL ran this same article. The comments came in 75% negative towards Hood so they erased them all and started over. The very next comment came in negative towards Hood and they took the whole article down. This is what we're in for in this election. I cannot stand Tate Reeves but Hood is a Democratic Trojan horse who will tell us what we want to here but work with Pelosi, Shumer, the MSM et al in the end. He is not to be trusted anymore than the MSM that will enthusiastically support him. I'll hold my nose and vote for Tate before I vote for the America hating Democratic Party.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
