D'allen Washington pleaded guilty in Madison County Circuit Court today to accessory after the fact to kidnapping in the Kingston Frazier case. He also pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of simple robbery. He was indicted for armed robbery before six year-old Kingston Frazier was kidnapped and murdered. Judge William Chapman presided over the guilty plea.
Byron McBride's trial for Capital Murder is scheduled for April 23. Washington's attorney, Warren Martin, issued the following statement:
On Monday, February 5, 2018, one of the three (3) defendants in the Kingston Frazier murder case entered a guilty plea in the Circuit Court of Madison County, Mississippi. Mr. D’Allen Washington faced a three (3) count indictment in the Fazier case: accessory after the fact to murder; accessory after the fact to kidnapping and accessory after the fact to auto theft. In a totally separate indictment, Mr. Washington faced a two (2) count indictment for robbery and conspiracy.
Mr. Washington pled guilty to one (1) count of simple robbery in the earlier indictment, and one (1) count of accessory after the fact to kidnapping in the Frazier case. The State has made the following recommendations: Robbery: fifteen (15) years, with ten (10) suspended and five (5) years to serve; and Accessory after the Fact to Kidnapping: twenty (20) years, with five (5) suspended and fifteen (15) years to serve, with the sentences to run CONCURRENTLY. Sentencing in these cases has been delayed until March 26, 2018.
Mr. Washington has accepted responsibility for his limited involvement in this matter, which led to the unfortunate and senseless murder of Kingston Frazier, and has agreed to offer State’s evidence in the prosecution of the remaining co-defendants. For his involvement, Mr. Washington continues to express his deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Kingston Frazier.

He should have been in the passenger seat in that Eastover suicide car, I'm sure there was at least one more bullet.
With three defendants, they could have all p each blamed it on the other, and hope the jury can't overcome reasonable doubt. But fortunately we found one to snitch on the other two. Someone always cracks.
So the third defendant just walks?
This is insane!!! Cut someone loose who was part of killing that baby????
I'm actually astonished that all three were not released and given the keys to the city. At least one of them will be locked up....for how long, however, is unclear.
Who says 'one will walk'? Where is that stated? Washington will serve 15 and will testify against the other two. Otherwise, all three might walk.
Condolences are always meaningful.
Rot in hell!!! How evil of a person does it take to execute a child. The voters of Madison county are sick and tired of this nonsense. McBride will get the needle.
The only reason they're not out on the street is because Madison County charged them. had it been in Hinds Ol' Tommie and Skinnerman would have them out by now.
I saw in today's paper where Washington's lawyer said with time served (8 Mos) he would be out in 36 months. How is that possible with a 15 year sentence?
None of them will survive prison. Earnest Hargon was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death yet someone got to him in prison and killed him before the sentence could be carried out. Happens all the time.
Some of you don't actually read what KF posts or else you scan and think that's good enough.
Of the 15 year sentence, the judge suspended 10 years.
And, for those of you who don't stop to think...if each of the three were trying to blame the other two , it muddies the water for juries, especially if they are tried separately.
And, if you bothered to inform yourself beyond your knee jerk reactions, you might know that this defendant has the personal history, came forward the next day, and is clearly the best choice to testify against the worst two so we can make certain they never see the outside of death row.
12:56....are you overlooking the fact that most Madison County juries come, in large part, from Cantonia (North Jackson)?
