Local artists displayed their work of social commentary at Fondren Park last night:
A William Jones was shot to death on September 20 at the intersection of Northview and Ridgeway.

...but there are no gangs in Jackson. They must've come from out of town to display their talent.
The deceased was Jewish?
Six pointed star is Gangster Disciples.
It's the initial art in the graffiti festival. They will get a grant from ms arts commission to cover the city in this art.
Black and Blue are their team colors.
Not doubt Kaze has a perfectly reasonable explanation to let us all know this is a perfectly reasonable expression of grief in a perfectly reasonable manner.
Obviously we need a law regulating the sale and possession of blue paint.

This is simply social commentary being offered by those who would otherwise have no voice in society. Wouldn't it be better to try to hear their cry for help and understand where they are coming from than to criticize their efforts to reach out or, even worse, just chalk it up as "vandalism." Some of you need to look beyond the confines of your privileged culture and get in tune with the rest of the world, including the socially disadvantaged.

I certainly hope you're deep in parody with your post. If so, that's some really good work.
In case it's NOT parody/irony/sarcasm, let me assure you that I feel for these young people who have "no voice in society". I "hear their cry for help". I even "understand where they're coming from" (oh, groovy, groovy, dig-it, snap the fingers, beatnick-style...". I do "look behind the confines of my privileged culture".
And that's why it is my personal belief that a merciful and understanding society would EUTHANIZE these poor tortured, troubled young people, in order to spare them the pain of living in this awful world (a world they're helping, with their actions, to make even MORE awful).
@ 8:47 I would love to see you at the next pro choice rally. Had these youngsters been "euthanized" while they were still merely fertilized eggs, that would have perhaps been a solution. Now that they are actual human beings with the same rights as the rest of us, they deserve to be nurtured. It would be much easier to lift them up rather than tear them down just because we don't see the world through their eyes.

I think you meant to say "...they deserve to be neutered." (not nurtured)
