Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Trollfest '07
Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

Honestly, I don't understand the conservative lovefest for Barbour. Did the pardons thing not make anyone reconsider this guy?
And the state is going to be struggling under his judicial appointments for years to come. What kind of GOP governor puts King on the MSSC and Russell on the COA? At least Harrison got voted out of Hinds Circuit - he was a disaster. I could see why a stereotypical Democrat would've appointed those folks, but what's Barbour's excuse?
The last thing Anderson wants to talk about is anything to do with Barbour's message. Sounds familiar. I'm talking about the record.
Lovefest? Maybe its respect for him as a political genius and an interest in what he thinks about the presidential race. I think everyone has the same opinion on the pardons.
Fair enough - he's surely much better at national politics than he was at being governor.
... Kaptain, are judicial appointments not part of one's record?
"he's surely much better at national politics than he was at being governor." Pardon, 10:05 AM, but he was a fantastic governor.
Actually Anderson, I was talking about your record. ;)
History will vindicate me. Or forget me entirely. Works either way!
MEMO: TO JFP FEMALE INTERNS
RE: The Endless Gushing Obama Rhetoric You Hear
Since Obama took office, the unemployment rate among women has jumped from 7 percent to 8.1 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Young women have fared even worse. Their unemployment rate has risen from 12.5 percent to 14.4 percent since 2009.
The jobless rate among single women, a demographic the Obama administration is targeting, has nearly doubled compared with prerecession levels.
As many Reoublicans throughout the state I WAS a HB fan for many years until he pardoned a group of murderers. That isnt just something a liberal democrat would do but one has to be a scumbag as well. All because these sub-humans worked at the Gov. mansion. These sub-humans stalked and killed their victims and HB let them go...even goin so far as to help 2 of them buy cars. HB wouldnt even meet with the victims families. Their loved ones were taken from them These men should have gotten OLD SPARKY not a pardon. HB is a disgusting liberal to me now and should be shunned by all descent people. Here are the killers HB pardoned in 2008. Jimmy Lee Avera: According to the Sun Herald, in 1992 Avera shot and killed his estranged girlfriend, Tabitha Ann Sparks, 24, while she was pregnant, and while her two children were at home with her. He fired 11 shots at her, including one in the back as she tried to run away. Avera had been granted parole before Barbour pardoned him in 2008. Victor C. Collins: Convicted of fatally beating his girlfriend, Peggy Campbell, with a tree branch in 1994. According to the Sun Herald newspaper, Campbell's body was found in a pile of leaves. Clarence Jones: Murdered his ex-girlfriend, 22-year-old Carla M. Smith, in 1992. According to the Jackson Free Press, Smith had filed multiple assault and trespassing charges against Jones before her death. Jones waited for her in her apartment on New Year's Day and killed her by stabbing her 22 times, reported the Vicksburg Post. Michael Davie Graham: Stalked his ex-wife, Adrienne Klasky, for three years before he finally shot her to death with a 12-gauge shotgun while she waited at a traffic light in her car in 1989, reports the Biloxi Sun Herald. Paul Joseph Warnock: Murdered his girlfriend, 18-year-old Carol Ann Hall in 1989. According to the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, Warnock shot Hall in the back of the head while she slept. Bobby Hays Clark: Convicted of manslaughter for shooting and killing his former girlfriend, Veronica Conner, reports the Jackson Free Press. 2012: Anthony McCray: Convicted of killing his wife, Jennifer McCray, in 2001. According to the Associate Press, the two had reportedly been arguing at a cafe. He left, returned, and shot her once in the back. CNN reports that McCray was granted a full pardon and has been released. David Glenn Gatlin: In 1993 Gaitlin reportedly drove nine hours to shoot and kill his estranged wife, Tammy Gaitlin, while she held their infant son, reports the Jackson Free Press. He also shot her friend Randy Walker, who survived. David Gatlin: In 1993, WLBT reported, Gatlin walked into the trailer where his estranged wife, Tammy Ellis Gatlin, lived and shot her in the head. The woman's friend, Randy Walker, survived a gunshot to the head. Joseph Ozmet: In 1992, Ozment shot a store clerk clerk to death druing a robbery. Ozment pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Charles Hooker, sentenced to life in 1992 for murder. Never forget the victims. Always remember who killed them and set them free!
Well I'll be damned, Jimmy Hood posted a comment on JJ at 1:13.
1:35 I voted for HB twice, thought he did a fantastic job post-Katrina, and was (and am) still nauseated by his pardons. Boneheaded decisions like this are a gift to the Dems, and are used against ALL conservatives. He really let us all down with 1) the stupid decisions and 2) the cowardly refusal to meet with the victim's families to explain it and/or apologize.
Glory be, there he is again!
Glory be, there he is again!
Haley even pardoned a murderer in his hometown. The previously adoring local paper was even up in arms.
@2:56-AMEN!!!!
Some of you obsessing mudcats have no clue that a majority of those paroled were already out of the prison system anyway. They weren't locked up and they were living among you simpletons. The pardon allows them to vote and go dove hunting with your cousin Luther.
I believe the said mentioned above refers to only the cold blooded murderers Haley pardoned...the nasty wreched pieces of filth that have preyed upon the helpless and weak...scum who have torn families hopes and dreams apart and left them to grieve...i guess the rapist, kidnappers and robbers and what not who weren't mentioned are ok with you shadow-girl...im just a little curious what your obsession is with defending Haley in this senseless act of his. You obviously must be some sort of liberal for i know of NO republican that defends him and I am in a position to know many...what is really sick is that there are little sniveling women around like you who defend Haley...thank God there are few...now go and watch the Dem convention while i get back to the Giants game
Ah, 8:43. The presentation of facts doesn't mean I find the pardons 'ok'. Nor am I obsessed with defending him. If you want to ramble on without benefit of fact, go for it. I do hope you enjoyed the Giants game.
(Kingfish, have I cleaned this up enough for your radar? You sometimes allow people to rebut when they've been attacked.)
