Three Jackson apartment complexes paid their water bill or made payment arrangements. WLBT reported:
Three apartment complexes in danger of having their water shut off for nonpayment are in the clear. That’s according to Interim Third-Party Manager Ted Henifin, who confirmed to 3 On Your Side that owners had either paid their past-due amounts in full or set up payment plans to prevent the water from being shut off. The news comes about a week after the potential disconnects were discussed at a Jackson Housing Task Force meeting. Members were initially concerned the shutoffs would leave more than 1,000 people without water. Rest of article.

Surprise!
Threatening to cutoff the no-pays actually works?
Who knew?!
Now if you get a water bill, ask your neighbor if she gets a water bill. Left and right and back and front. Once everyone who gets water gets a bill and pays it we can move on.
It shows people can pay their water bills. Jxn Water brought in 8.4 million
dollars in Sept.
I'll take any good news I can get on this site. It's scarce.
