JPD issued an arrest warrant for Jeremy Jones for the murder of three young people at Club Rain over the weekend. The 32 year-old black male is a former Marine. Deputy Police Chief Deric Hearn said there were five security guards in the nightclub when the murders took place.

Unfortunately our society has pushed the three S's to the max. Shout, Shove and now Shoot. Shame. I'm quite sure that family from Gary, Indiana that sent the 20 yo to JSU didn't plan on a funeral. How did she get in at 20? Thought most clubs say 21 at least.
Former marine, but likely with a "big chicken dinner" (bad conduct discharge).
5 security guards there! We’re they all asleep 💤?
Two quick questions- 1. Why do they not show a picture if they have a suspect? 2. The girl was 20 and there is no doubt that the chicken shits at ABC will do nothing about it. Selective enforcement or bribes?
The 'Security Guards' were doing NOTHING but huntin' nookie.
One of the security guards present said, when the shooting began from outside the club across the street, Jones was standing besides him. The security guard also said he never saw Jones with a weapon.
He got more badges on his sash than any girl scout. (Even two tours of duty at M-Club)...
It is Tuesday. The print version of the Clarion Ledger still hasn't carried the story. That is a racist paper that doesn't care about African Americans.
Note to officer Hearn:
Congratulations on your accomplishments as evidenced by your terrible looking uniform badging.
Neaten it up a little and maybe swap out some on different days.
You look like a fake with all of that shit on your uniform.
Chief needs some gold ropes with the frilly tassels draped around one shoulder. It will give that "I am in charge" look.
Were they armed security guards or unarmed bouncers?
The case for secession:
Bad government is a pernicious disaster. Like untreated tuberculosis, it is not initially fatal to the organism, but in the end often is. We are watching just such a situation play out in Jackson. The ineptitude of our government is beyond description. Perhaps it is just the election of mediocre individuals because the public pay is insufficient (and possibly the hidden pay and graft and outright theft is). The narcissistic, whining “mayor” and feckless “city council” have delivered a place many flee. At least one of the city council seems interested in representing his constituency but his buffoonish tactics detract and this in insufficient.
It’s not that complex, folks. A city that has safety, decent public spaces and roads, and reliable utilities is truly all we need.
Of these necessities, safety is paramount. We can limp along with bad roads, and with inadequate water, but if we die it is all over. And the homicide rate here is beyond anything that is tolerable. We can replace the damage to our cars and boil or buy potable water, but death is irrevocable. Those murdered are gone forever.
The local judiciary has absolutely failed the citizens. The judges who release murder suspects on minimal bail and seem to avoid most other crime, are poisoning us. They must be recalleld and replaced. The prosecuting attorney, who should protect us, does not seem to do so. The fact that he was a beneficiary of soros generosity (in his plan to weaken this country by promoting extremely lenient prosecutors is interesting. As inadequate as he seems to be, it seems better than the one who he replaced. That says a ton about how bad Smith was.
You might ask: what could the “mayor” and “city council” do to reduce this crime wave? While overall our murder rate would be drastically reduced with improvements in family structure, which should be a long term goal, the closure of places with frequent murders, greatly increased pressure on drug sales, and a curfew after some reasonable hour would surely help. My Dad said “nothing good happens after 10 P.M and if you look at the timing of the deaths, most don’t happen in daylight hours. If the tonks (“clubs”) closed at midnight, it would be a major stroke.
C. J. Lemaster put together the fine representation of murder in Jackson. It can be found here: public.tableau.com/app/profile/c.j.lemaster/viz/jacksonHomicidel or on wlbt.co/news/crime/jackson-homicides/ which looks like a mirror to the original.
Look at his very good map. Geography is very important. There are at present six (6) homicides east of State street and west of I-55 only one (1) north of Northside drive. This is very important. Those neighborhoods in north and east Jackson, an area that approaches half of the city area, have about 5% of the deaths; if you remove the M-bar tonk, about 2%. And before any fools begin to scream “racist”, look at the demographics of these areas; they are very mixed. This is not a racial comparison, only a comparison of murder and death. Have any of you critics wondered not why the fancier neighborhoods have less murder, but why the less fancy neighborhoods in this area do not?
A couple of ideas come to mind. First, the murderous areas need intensive work in many areas. And second, if these areas do not immediately respond to the silliness that will be proposed by the little “mayor” dancing around and coming up with giveaways, for the rest of us to remove ourselves from those areas.
The more able and mobile residents of Jackson are fleeing one family at a time. Why not just flee en mass? We could take the area north of Northside drive and east of State street and call it, say: North and East Jackson.

Maybe they need $20,000/month security like Ckokewe's MBar???
In the recent past I was a frequent bar hopper (not a drunk), not ashamed to admit it. Single, good paying job and liked to get out to see the scenery. None of the establishments I visited needed security other than the occasional guy at the door checking IDs. Touting $20K/month in security suggests its not a safe place to be, 5 security guards at club rain (small establishment) is not a good thing...yet this is lost on Chokewe and his ppl/supporters. Jackson will continue to be a breeding ground for shootings and violence with the mentality that supports Chokewe and the like...
It was on the CL website
JPD does not issue arrest warrants. Arrest warrants/search warrants are issued by the court of jurisdiction.
