A gentleman got his truck and trailer back after it was stolen last week on South State Street in Jackson. The victim posted on social media;
Madison county investigators recovered my truck at a house off Highway 43 near the reservoir in Madison County around lunch yesterday, Tuesday. One individual was detained. Through further investigation, they received information that the trailer was located at a residence in Simpson County. Madison county investigators along with Simpson County deputies recovered the trailer late in the afternoon yesterday, Tuesday. Many thanks to both departments and also to everyone who shared posts on various social media platforms and also kept a lookout for the missing truck and trailer. Both truck and trailer were returned in pretty much the same condition as when stolen. Some minor items were missing out of the truck. The truck actually is cleaner than when it was stolen. They emptied the cab and even Armoralled the dash. So I got a free detail out of the deal. I will be investing in some GPS trackers.
Nothing like clean thieves.

It was all a misunderstanding. He scheduled a clean and detail months ago and they just got around to getting to it because they’ve been so busy.
Dangerous thugs from Madison and Simpson counties coming into Jackson and stealing our property! Sad!
Bet he won’t enter a porta-Jon without a side arm on State Street again.
A trailer lock is cheaper than a GPS tracker, dumbass!
PS: The thief is a Rankinonian.
Who the hell leaves a truck unlocked, keys in ignition, unlocked trailer hooked to the ball? In Jackson?
KingFish ---0--- Acutually a post with a Happy Ending. This gots to be a first.
For you prison reform/bleeding hearts who feel that the thief shouldn't go to prison because it is only a "property crime."
Bless your hearts.
He’s right. A GPS is the key. Those of you who like to shout dumbass have never had a lock cut.
No lock 'cut'. Truck and trailer stolen.
The thugs pop those trailer locks off in less that 10 seconds- happened recently to a friend's ATV trailer parked in his carport.
