Dark days are coming to Madison next week:
Sawces say the dining establishment will be closed for up to two months. Will the city provide grief counseling services? Is Madison PD prepared for the public disturbances that will undoubtedly occur? Does this mean the end of Madison? Is this the end of The Queen? What does this have to do with the One Lake Plan? Will Jay Hughes blame this on Delbert? Where does Rudy fit into this? And what the heck does gasoline have to do with Gasoline Alley? Stay tuned.

Maybe the local big bellies can waddle off a little weight by avoiding their favorite nibbles for a few months.
Visited the local shopping establishments and I was pretty disgusted by the morbid obesity of the citizens who dwell in such fine aesthetic architecture.
Say it ain't so. Right when they're slow-walkin' the remodel of the greasy skillet Burger-Kang right across the skreet? Where can a fellow get a decent service-station hot dog around here?
@9:42 - Nibble this, Dork!
Wish they could have waited for the new chick-fil-a to open by Dinsmor before starting this remodel.
9:59 let me offer you an alternative. Go north. Turn right. Take Yandell Road to Old Canton Road. Walk in the gas station and order the Hunt Brothers thin crust loaded pizza. Let me preach on it....you may think it’s nasty or something. Not so. It’s got more than enough meats and fresh veggies piled high and sells for ten bucks plus tax ‘merican.
seriously, where does rudy fit into this?
Is this a result of Costco coming to Madison County? It’s already shutting down the city.
I won't miss it the other 2 have better service and offer more choices.
@9:42
I've been complaining about the same thing. Come to find out most of those slobs are from Jackson. They're up here spending their money because their town is no longer a safe place to shop and they're too stupid to vote for good leadership.
OH THE HUMANITY!
I wanted Krystal's anyway. Everthang a growin' boy needs. If you're gonna eat junk might as well go all out.
Jackson would kill to have a Chick-fil-A that does the volume that store produces.
I believe Rudy has moved to Alabama. He wouldn't be caught dead in a dive where one walks up to the counter. He requires proper seating, back to the window, ice water on one side, fine wine on the other.
Love the suggestion about visiting the County Line store. Apparently CFA does not know their market/customers at this location. I can't imagine that more than a single digit percentage would "dare" drive to that location out of fear.
6:55 AM,
How can one CFA offer more choices than the other? They have the same menu, regardless of location (that'd be the definition of a "chain").
By the way, you used a run-on sentence.
Calm down people. There's not exactly a shortage of fried chicken restaurants on Grandview Blvd.
I hear that this CFA will serve only those wearing MAGA caps after the remodel. That will make the dedicated customers feel more appreciated.
8:26 Good point.
Must be a corporate thing, they shut down the inside of our Chick and operated the drive thru only. Then they demolished the building and are building a much bigger one on the same lot. 4 months and counting.
9:42 should just cruise on down I-55 to Jackson and visit the greasy pizza/ice cream joint all the funky Fondrenites hang out at.
There is a new king of chicken in Madison. Its called Zaxby's. Puts Canes and CFA to shame.
I only eat vegetables that I grow myself and protein that I kill myself.
It is the best seasoning.
Everything at the grocery store is poison produced by a dozen or so conglomerates of human feed producers run by globalists who only care a out squeezing a few extra euros out what they can bribe governments to approve as food.
How do I do this and still have a full time job? I don't spend an additional 8 hours a day sitting on my butt consuming mind poison on TV.
OMG! Where will all the giant, white SUVS with mothers on phones go? County Line???
Congrats to you Hermit King. Your ancestors would be proud of you.
I mainly frequent CFA because of the service. The food is ok, but the service is the best you can get for fast food. I went through withdrawal as the Clinton location remodeled.
Thanks to 9:54 we now know where all the missing cats and dogs posted on Nextdoor go.
Hey Louis LeFleur, if you're afraid of County Line Road you must be a real pansy. That CFA does a great business.
Jay Hughes member of the party of civility and tolerance will blame Delbert!
I will miss Chic-Fil-A in Madison. It is wonderful food and cannot be replaced with Krystal's or anything else! Shame on the poster who call Chic-Fil-A junk food... I love it.
@9:50 Zaxby’s Super Bowl Commercial mocking CFA backfired. Madison residents won’t take this lightly. Saw it on Facebook.

This topic justified 28 prior comments, yet Dr Frank Pollard only draws one or maybe two comments. Sad
8:28 - only 18% of South Madison goes to church on Sunday. Smmmmh.
After reading the comments for this post i have come to the realization that i went into the wrong profession. I should have gone into the Ivory Tower business and advertised on this here blog.
Get a life people... It's only chicken nuggets.
@8:28PM
Not even I am so sick in the head to troll a Dr. Frank Pollard post. Geez, it's a sign of respect to just listen and reflect.
What do you expect, 27 replies of "Amen"?
County Line Road was closed for several months about a year ago for a remodeling. Doing so allowed them to expand the kitchen which allowed for faster service. During that time I went to the Madison store for a fix, and it wasn't a problem. Of course, it is much easier to get in and get out of the Madison store.
