Suspect Sought in Castlewood’s Drive By Shooting and Suspicious Death
On Friday February 24, at approximately 5:00 a.m. the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call from a woman who stated that she had been shot while jogging along Castlewood’s Blvd. During the investigation the victims stated that a white male with facial hair driving a small white SUV shot her from his driver’s window striking her in the thigh.
On Friday February 24, at approximately 4:20 p.m. the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office received a request to do a welfare check on a resident at Vineyards Apartments off of Vine Drive near Castlewood’s. A deputy along with a family member found the 30 year old female deceased inside the apartment. The deceased victim’s vehicle, a white 2012 GMC Arcadia SUV was missing. The victim’s boyfriend, 28 year old, Alex Bridges DEATON is being sought in connection to her missing vehicle, missing phone and the suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Due to DEATONS physical description, the description of the white SUV missing from the deceased victim, the proximity of the two incidents, and physical evidence collected at the Castlewood’s Boulevard shooting, Alex Bridges DEATON is a suspect in both incidents. Warrants are being issued for DEATON and we are actively searching for him with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Alex Bridges DEATON is believed to be still driving a white 2012 GMC Acadia bearing Mississippi Nurses Foundation Tag Number F396 NF.
Anyone with information that leads to arrest of Alex Bridges DEATON would be eligible for up to a $2,500 reward. Two different women, some theory exists that she is/was a possible witness.

The butt-shot jogger is either involved in a triangular way or she has an uncanny ability to recognize somebody from behind, before daylight, while running and sidestepping mud puddles.

4:18. Quit assuming you know anything about this. The woman shot was just in the wrong place at the wrong time jogging, and damn lucky to still be alive. Nothing more.

"The woman had just left the Castlewoods Subdivision just after 5 a.m. when she said a man driving a white SUV, believed to be a Ford Explorer or a Jeep Cherokee, drove by her then turned around and passed her on the opposite side of the road, Bailey said.
The man then came back a third time, pulled a gun and fired one shot, which struck her in the thigh, Bailey said.
"As the vehicle passed, she heard a 'pop.' The victim then realized she had been shot in the left leg," RCSO said in a Facebook post."
He killed Ms. Heather Robinson because she was about to break up (dump) him. He couldn't take the rejection from the pretty young nurse. He killed her because she had a better job than him. May she rest in peace.
6:59 and 6:05....maybe you can't follow well, but the WLBT reporter's comments at the scene, The WLBT text coverage, The Sheriff's report and the Sheriff's facebook post are all in conflict.
She was jogging along the roadway, she was jogging in the median, she only saw a white SUV, she gave a description of the man, she was shot in the leg, she was shot in the buttocks, she saw the vehicle approaching, she was shot from behind.
Jogging victim is trying to figure it out after it happened. It's not like she expected to get shot. Police sources think that he only knew one victim and was using the others for practice. He was also apparently unemployed. Jogger was just in wrong place at wrong time.
Sheriff in Neshoba County announced that Deaton is a suspect in the murder of the 69 year old lady who was killed inside of a church
This guy has been an asshole his whole life, sucking the
joy from his family and relationships as his main goal.
His jealousy of others fueled his hatred of others happiness and
bringing them down gave him fullfillment never realizing there is plenty
of joy to go around. Now he has killed two people and tried a third, not to gain a thing in the world, only to bring further pain and loss to this world--hurting decent people from both families and hurting the community

8:40, are you contending that jogging along the roadway and jogging in the median could not be the same thing. And is in the buttocks and in the leg necessarily a different description of the area, other than maybe a couple of inches? Damn you are being picky about the description of the incident that was reported by differing news services and reports.
Where dos the jogger work?
Another theory could be the victim was planning on ending it--and maybe the jogger knew the victim and was encouraging it via text or something and so he went after her as well.
This would mean he would know she jogs early in the morning which is unlikely, though.
All signs still point to some type of "well I just killed my GF, F it" and just randomly shooting at someone else.
My guess, which is worth nothing, killed his girlfriend, went to a place he was familiar with and broke into the church for something (money, food) and the lady got to the wrong place at the wrong time, then he returned to the castle woods area for some reason and encountered the jogger. All speculation and worthless....My condolences and prayers go out to the families.
The jogger is a friend of mine and has absolutely no connection to the victim or her boyfriend. It was a completely random act.

1:46 - Wrong! There are NOT 'different news sources'. The news source was WLBT whose reporter on the scene contradicted the written narrative in their own report. And the other 'source' is Rankin S.O.
There's a lot of difference in jogging along the roadway and being in the median. Facts are important.
There's a lot of difference between being shot in the leg and being shot in the buttocks. One clearly indicates a trajectory from 'behind', bringing into question how she could clearly see the shooter and ID him in the report.
But, wait, she didn't see him. WLBT reported that she only saw a white SUV.
The whole story is full of holes. But so is her buttocks.
