The Rankin County Sheriff's Office issued the following statement:
On Monday June 13, 2016, GTR K9 Search out of
Columbus, Mississippi searched the wooded off of Bridges Road where
BURNLEY was last seen. After a full day of searching, the search
concluded without making any discoveries.
We have submitted phones to the Mississippi FUSION
Center and are awaiting the results of a forensic exam. We are also
waiting for phone records that have been requested pursuant to a search
warrant.
There is currently a $10,000 reward with Central
Mississippi Crime Stoppers. I am surprised with this size of reward,
that we have not received an additional leads.

I am a littlr behind on this case. Do they suspect that Burnley was complicit with the Brewers in some sort of crime (fraud?) or that the Brewers may have done something to him? Or, both? Or, is there no current working theory?
He's either changed his name and moved to Texas, or he's sleeping with the fishes. Alien abduction is always a possibility as well.
Why do they need the phone to check billing records? Doesn't his carrier have a record of incoming and outgoing numbers, and can't they access their records to triangulate cell towers and see where the phone was when a call was made?
Here's a tip. He is not where the guy said he was. Why? Because he never was there in the first place. There was no stolen car. His buddy never came to help look for it. It's all BS. The crime scene is somewhere else. This is what we call a red herring. I know they need to check this area to eliminate it but what they need to do is get these people to confess as to the actual location.
6:52; That's precisely why I said they are barking up the wrong tree, on another thread and got jumped for saying it.
I thought the forensic lab was in that nice new Crime Lab building not the MS Emergency Management Agency building where the FUSION Center is located
9:03...Who gives a shit where the forensics lab is located? We're talking here about somebody's LIFE!
Four days have passed and NO update? Put the chief in Tchula on the case.
