I suppose this is your attempt to blame the "liberal media" for some sort of pro-Obama bias. But to claim Politico is biased for Obama is ludicrous. They are simply following the story, and the story is that Obama is in the lead and is about to win this election.

Obviously October 31, 2012 1:49 PM doesn't read Gallup and would rather trust PPP, who is "Democratic leaning" according to the NYT.

As said before, please feel like you have it in the bag and don't bother voting.

And before you make your statement count up the number of "Pro-Obama" stories or "Anti-Romney" articles. You may just see the light.

I like to go to local sources - interesting article out of Ohio. News relying on week old poll and current poll to write the story. Why not just stick with past versus present comparison instead of blatantly misconstruing the news. I mean this is a "fact-based" operation right?

There are some interesting points here to call out.

Actual title is "Obama maintains narrow lead in Ohio, polls say"

Sub-title reads "One survey says it's 5 points; another says 2"

The meta or Google title is "obama-maintains-5-point-lead-in-ohio.html"

Following national polls makes no sense. The presidential election is a state-by-state proposition, and Obama is leading in most of the swing states that will decide this race. Gallup doesn't matter. How is Romney going to win without Ohio? He really can't.

1:49 PM, thanks so much for the laugh. Lets see, politico isn’t a Barry shill, the sky is orange, and Benghazi didn’t happen

-yesterday, one of their reporters caught on hot mic….oopsie
-last year, one of their reporters fawned over Barry’s wife so much, dubbed Michelle’s press agent
-And one of the best quotes, “Politico: Obama: Election ‘has nothing to do’ with Libya deaths”
-Politico: we have to focus on ‘real news’ not ACORN (when ACORN got busted and lost their funding)
-and please don’t notice Vogel is former employee of Soros funded group.

Now go hug big bird. We've got serious business to attend to.

And about Ohio, 2:32, seems the coal people are absolutely pissed. Imagine that. And don't notice cincinnati paper endorsed Romney.

7 polls released in Ohio in past 48 hours: Obama +2, Obama +3, Obama +3, Obama +3, Obama +5, Obama +5, Obama +5.

4 more years, bitches!

Ohio is already stolen by the Dem fraudsters (they've been planning this steal for 4 years). For Romney to win means a win in CO, WI, NV. Also, PA is in play now.

I looked at this page yesterday - ILLOGICAL LEFTWING WEBSITE.

11:29, thanks for sharing Politico's, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC's polls. Bless their hearts, they really haven't caught on yet---you know, half of USA won't have anything to do with you. Watch your ratings fall, go out of business. Quite frankly, we don't give a damn about you because you forgot what your job was.

And folks have already been warned in a few states that the machines are being 'recalibrated' because voters choose Romney and when they get to the last screen, there's a vote for Obama. Imagine that. The warning heard everywhere is this---go thru your ballot, if your machine prints it out, then print it BEFORE casting it. Check screen twice before casting ballot since some machines are automatically switching votes to jackass. If this happens to you, do NOT cast ballot, get election official over there and recalibrate machine right then (they will reboot it). Enter info again, if it switches vote to jackass again, call official back over there. Once the machine is accurately recording your vote, cast your ballot.

Ha, cries of "voter fraud" already.

It must be comforting to live in a fantasy world where no Democrat can be fairly elected, and voter fraud is the only answer to an Obama victory.

Funny how Democrats are pushing polls with Gallup and Rasmussen out due to Sandy. I guess they need something to "hope" about.

Ooooo oooo I found a poll...

Romney 70% Obama 5% Biden 25%

This parody brought to you by the Elect Biden for Vice President Campaign!

Quinnipiac and PPP? besides the info requested by 3:48 PM, that is the funniest thing I've seen all day. Do you have any idea how many people have already absolutely disected Q and PPP? Crap, that's funny.

And while your jumping up and down for 'your man', want to explain why he sat there watching live feed of Benghazi? Chime on in, because there's so much info that's been uncovered at this point, I'd love to take you on. Hell, every American would love to take you on.

It might be good for the note that many of the polls showing an Obama lead in Ohio and other swing states are calculated using 2008 statistics for party affiliation, which have drastically changed, invalidating the results shown.

Anonymous said...

Aside from the fact that there are few statisticians on this site or and too many who think media bias and misinformation doesn't exist from right wing sources they seek out to confirm their existing opinions, it's the memory loss that should cause some of you to worry most.

Don't you remember how " close" the last election was supposed to be? Don't you remember the public polls ( as opposed to internal polling) ?

TWO HUNDRED people showed up for a free Stevie Wonder concert at an Ohio early voting function today. 200.

Meanwhile. Mitt drew 30,000 to a rally at a place where McCain drew about 3000 4 years ago. Barry, well, he dropped from 28,000 four years ago to 2800.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.

Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
