I lost my father to a house fire in 2016. My heart goes out to her loved ones, and may the Lord Jesus give them strength, and comfort.
Yall let this be a reminder to change the batteries in yall smoke detectors. That “ceiling bird” ain’t a pet. During Covid, more than half a y’all kids were on camera during class with chirping smoke alarms! They sell a battery at the Dollar Tree ok!
Terribly sad. I am so grateful and thankful for our Volunteer Fire Departments, Firefighters and First Responders. I tip my hat to you all.
So sad there was another lost life due to a house fire.
The volunteer fire department in my area will hold its annual fish fry fundraiser tomorrow. We always go, buy fried catfish, and make an additional cash donation. These are the people who will respond if we have a house fire.
