Kingfish note: Riding a four-wheeler on a public street. It's a wonder more such accidents don't happen.

I have never thought, "Hey! I am going to ride my 4-wheeler on Galatin Street today!".
Terrible trend. Was this 4-wheeler purchased or *acquired*.
What a senseless loss of life.
Driving a 4 wheeler on a public street is a problem. But, at FOUR in the morning.
What does the POPS spokesperson mean by 'member of our team'? Does that mean 'employee'. Are they open at 4:00 a.m.?
Between the potholes and the refusal of a certain segment of the population to obey normal traffic laws, driving in Jackson has become exhausting. I am hoping that the new mayor addresses both concerns.
Something bad happened near Pop's at 4 a.m.? Shocking! I feel bad for the families involved here, absolutely. But a 4-wheeler on the streets near a renowned late-night dive in the late/early hours does not sound like they were planning on going to church yesterday.
The first picture that comes to mind are the roving bands of thugs riding stimulus check atv’s through west JXN, shooting in the air and causing havoc. However, that portion of Gallatin borders the Pearl River. Likely a plausible area to be riding an ATV, but venturing onto pavement is asking for trouble. Doing it at 4:00 am adds another factor. Can’t say I haven’t been in as equally dangerous situations brought on by a series of poor decisions at various points throughout my life. Tragic.
Don't really feel too sorry for those who get themselves killed riding 4 wheelers on public streets. It's a death wish.
Where was the JPD? Are donut shops open at 4 AM?
Solons, if y’all wanted to pass some useful, constructive legislation, you’d make it illegal to operate any off-road vehicle and golf cart on public roads.
10:20, that would be redundant.
This is happening in every town and city in Mississippi! I understand it’s not worth the chase for safety reasons, but most municipalities have cameras and know who the drivers are and where they live.
I actually think we should embrace it. Give everyone a atv and let them sort themselves out. It's past time to thin the herd a little bit.
A lot of young people ride 4 wheelers in area's that they are not supposed to along the Pearl river at night. I don't know anything about this case, but a couple of young Pop's employees utilizing their access to and knowledge of that area to access the river for some late night mud riding fun would not surprise me. A couple of those guys hauling butt up Galatin on their 4 wheeler's to fill up with gas or buy some beer at the Pilot would also not surprise me.
I feel the same about golf carts running around in none golf course neighborhoods. I hate to say it but it will take a loss of life, probably one of the 10-12 year olds driving them before it ceases.
@11:18, I saw a video of 20+ ATVs taking over a freeway in broad daylight in Birmingham this past weekend. It's everywhere. Idiots doing wheelies and flying around with no regard for anyone else.
