The Capitol Police issued the following statement.
On September 6, 2026, Capitol Police responded to a call in regard to a subject having a weapon at Trio Eatery on North State Street.
Capitol Police were then notified that two subjects suffering from gunshot wounds had arrived at a local hospital. The victims were alert and responsive upon arrival.
This is an active and open investigation; no further comments will be made at this time.

That entire section of State St. could stand to be bulldozed except the beautiful old homes. Since there is so much vacancy in town, some shitty “club” opens up on every corner now. Can’t be surprised this degeneracy happens when everyone leaves town and opens the door for shitty businesses to pop up.
Also, it is hysterical that so many of the ferals had a blast this Labor Day weekend, as if any of them have a job to be stressed about.
