If he has decent lawyers, the "possession of a weapon on school property" charge will get dropped. Mississippi law defines a school as K-12.
It’s Hinds Community College, not junior
Why isn't shooting a person immediately classified as "attempted murder"?
4:06 PM Use to be called Hinds Jr College.
“willfully and unlawfully possess or carry a firearm on educational property as defined by Section 97-37-17 of the Mississippi code”. But it’s okay to have gun shows on one of their school campuses?!?
