WHAT: Children’s of Mississippi patients who have had plastic surgery for cleft or craniofacial conditions and their families will enjoy the inaugural Plastic Surgery Family Fun Day at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and the LeFleur’s Bluff Playground. The day, sponsored by the Stephanie and Mitchell Morris Center for Cleft and Craniofacial Research and Innovation, will give patients and their families a chance to meet and enjoy a spring day together with their care team.
WHEN: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 22
WHERE: Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, 2148 Riverside Drive, Jackson
WHY: The Stephanie and Mitchell Morris Center for Cleft and Craniofacial Research and Innovation created the Plastic Surgery Family Fun Day so patients going through similar medical experiences can become friends while their families can gain support and encouragement from each other.

Nice idea. Good time for the kids. But two hours? That's barely enough to unload the car. Glad they chose this venue instead of the Capital City's zoo.
