Totally bogus numbers....they're deliberately inflated to appear that "Satisfactory Academic Progress" is being made to keep funding going.
Education itself in Mississippi isn't happening in the least - and on a large scale. Student's are making high scores on ACTs etc. but on a daily basis, aren't doing any meaningful work with any rigor or critical thinking....or they aren't even attending....let's see how that works in the real world.
The whole push for "career tech" and "workforce development" are contrived political narratives for an election year.....but also because millions of students aren't capable of completing more that two years of college.
Bull-Shit, 6:26. Many school districts have excellent career centers. We used to call them 'shop' or 'vocational programs'. They've never been called career tech. There are districts all across this state that have serious career programs in place. You just don't get out much and regurgitate what you hear at the pool room domino table.
4:18 Yes, fully aware of the beautiful "tech" centers being built, but students are NOT pouring into them.....apparently you know nothing about the actual enrollment numbers related to these shiny new shops. They are falling because young people don't want to actually work for a living....oh, there's a few, but by and large, thousands of potential students don't even want to go to school or work .
6:26 u need to go for a walk and get some fresh air dude. just grasping at things to complain about now. do u tell the kids to get off your lawn, too? haha!
