For a brief scary moment yesterday, it appeared there might be a repeat of the Kingston Frazier case. JPD tweeted yesterday:
JPD is investigating a vehicle just stolen from the 900 block of Blair St. A small child was inside the vehicle when it was taken however, the child was found safe a short distance away. The stolen vehicle is white Nissan Sentra, tag unknown. No additional info available.
The thieves put the 6 year-old child out of the car a short distance away. Apparently, the mother didn't learn a damn thing from the murder of little Kingston Frazier:
Thankfully, JPD caught the suspects:
UPDATE: Vehicle stolen from the 900 block of Blair St. is a white 2015 Nissan Sentra, bearing tag HNJ6515, taken by two black males. No weapon was displayed, vehicle was unsecured and running when the suspects entered it.
The stolen Nissan Sentra has been recovered. Vehicle was found in the 3800 block of Warner St. Two individuals have been detained.

Yeah and I'm looking at the news footage. As a former JPD officer myself, I always wonder why, after the fact, there are always 7 units and cops standing around bullsh*tting while the cameras roll. Why aren't supervisors telling those units to go back in service? You guys ain't covering your beats. Go 10-8 for crying out loud.
That's the part most of them live for, 12:04. The rush to get on the scene while doing nothing productive and then standing around bullshittin' while their blues run. Kinda like running out to home plate when your team-mate hits a home run and then wanting to stand around home plate and shoot the shit for five minutes.
The obvious question is why was the child left alone in the car?
