Yet another car crashed into a building:
The list gets longer: Amerigo's, Fondren Wine, Eye Care.....
Update: JPD issued the following statement:
Jackson Police are investigating an early morning vehicle crash that occurred in the 1500 block of Lakeland Dr.
It happened just before 10:00am at the Eye Care Surgical Center. Officers responded to the location and found that a car had crash into the building.
At least 4 people were transported to an area hospital with injuries. None were reported to be life threatening.
The building did sustain heavy damage. Based on information given by the driver, there may have been a mechanical issue with the vehicle prior to the crash, but the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Well I mean at least this one makes sense. What better way to prove one needs something done to their eyes than to drive into a building?
This humpty hump van with no tag... illegal immigrants?
Appears to be a bad cataract outcome
No tag. Back window out. That is standard Rankin County transportation to me. Smells like crystal meth, I bet.
Ummmm, I think its more like HINDS county transportation.
Plus, I'm sure the building's owner will be hearing from Richard Schwarz because they didn't have a "crash prevention cushion" at the front door.
Someone needs their prescription lenses redone.
Don’t forget the Waffle House.
It was a Simpson Co. Driver. No major injuries. My neighbor in NE Jackson is the physician there. Told me it was chaos for him all day.
Has anyone heard an update on the patients taken to the hospital or the paramedic who had a heart attack at the scene?
Is this another movie trailer?
The fact that, after the 'crash', they put a Simpson County driver under the wheel is only a distraction.
No rear window, laundry baskets and crap piled high in vehicle, no tag, taped up right tail-light, jumping bump-curb at 25 mph, attempting to park in handicap zone....all of this clearly points to Rankin County. No other possible explanation. Period.
I agree that this was definitely a Rankin County driver under the influence. No other logical explanation.
