Sorry I'm late to the table as I was a bit under the weather last night. Mississippi Secretary of State Hibbit Hosemann issued the following statement.
County, Municipal Documents Filed With Secretary of State Now Available Online
Jackson, Miss.—More than 5,500 county and municipal documents filed with the
Secretary of State’s Office are now available for search and review online.
Among
other responsibilities, the Secretary of State’s Office is a repository
for many state and local documents. Counties and municipalities are
required to file charters of
incorporation, interlocal agreements, and other similar documents with
the Secretary of State. Miss. Code Ann. §§ 17-13-11, 21-1-31.
The
new online database contains recently executed and historical documents
received from the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, some
dating back to the 1800s.
Historical papers will continue to be scanned and added to the database
as they are received. Municipalities and county governments in
possession of documents not in the database are encouraged to contact
the Business Services Division at (601) 359-1633.
“This
is another step in our journey toward becoming a paperless operation,
which saves taxpayer dollars and makes public information more
immediately accessible to anyone wishing
to view it,” Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann said.

The SOS revoked my LLC business because I forgot to send a annual update.
So, I will now stop sending sale tax to the DEPT. OF REVIEW (TAP). NOW, the state can fall deeper in debt. Way to go SOS.
Wouldn't it be easier just to file your annual report and get the LLC reinstated?
Yeah. Sounds like you were out of business anyway. The state saved you the $50 it normally costs to dissolve your LLC. Merry Christmas to you.
State also sent you a late notice a few months back. I know because I got one, too.
I, however, went online and renewed mine.
So, save your bitching, would you? You got an email, a mailed latter, and finally a dissolution notice.
When the SOS automates the campaign finance forms for local and county officials and posts them online, I'll pay attention. Until then, local and county campaign finance rules are a farce.
Law requires them to forward to SOS BUT since this is Mississippi, the law has no teeth or deadline.
