I'm sure the Black Panthers will not let the truth get in the way of their protest. JPD (which is a majority black police department with a black police Chief)has said there is absolutely no proof whatsoever that Carrol was murdered or hung by some 3rd party, but rather, JPD has said all proof indicates a suicide by Mr Carrol himself. As for Mr Jackson, he was not "lynched". His head was cut off, and while the investigation has just begun, I'd be willing to bet a year's wages that it was the result of drug or gang activity, not the KKK. The KKK is scared to go into that part of town. Like the Greenwood/Greenville church burning several months ago, the reference to the KKK and/or Trump was used as a distraction by the real culprit, a black man and member of the same church, to make police think it was committed by a white person. But again, let's not let the truth get in the way of a good story and some good propaganda.

It seems to me that an outside gang of some violent type is moving into Jackson/Hinds County. Word must have spread about our lax procecution, our lax judges, our lax Sheriff, and our wonderful location for drug distribution. Elections have consequences and we are suffering the consequences of partisan and uninformed voters.

The KKK was also blamed by the Democrats and the media for the Greenville Black Church burning during the presidential campaign. Ended up being a black guy. National media scantily publicized that.

Yeah, you pretty much can. The KKK in Mississippi is about 25 guys strong, all over the age of 80 who have to ride Rascals if they want to march. People like Antifa and the Black Panthers drop their name all the time because of the negative connotation. There are white supremacist groups out there that are organized and a threat, but they don't have names that resonate.

So, when was the last KKK murder in Mississippi? I honestly don't know, but I believe you'd have to go back to the 1960s for a confirmed Klan murder. I know there have been racially motivated killings since (e.g. Deryl Dedmon), but I'm talking about an organized effort by the Klan.

And why would the Klan take out this guy? Was Jeremy Jerome some sort of threat to them? Did he whistle at a white woman? Was he a civil rights organizer? You would think that the Klan would have bigger targets than some random guy on the street, and they would immediately take credit because that's how terrorism works.

This is a horrific crime that the NBPP is using to make racial hay. The chances of it having anything to do with the Klan are incredibly slim, and anyone with a grain of sense knows that.

Can anyone elaborate on this Phillip Carrol "lynching"? All I can find is an obit that says he died at 22. Are these guys claiming he was lynched by white people? Is there any evidence that he was even killed that way?

The New Black Panthers have pretty much no association with the original Black Panthers, and has been decried by leaders of the latter for xenophobic and racist rhetoric.

The "new" Black Panthers have little to do with the original Black Panther Party which focused on education and community organization in underserved communities. This outfit is mainly a bunch of publicity seeking posers who incite as much racial division as possible while offering no solutions or contributing any positive
effort in communities with real problems. They think that co-opting the name of the controversial organization will give them street creds which they have never earned. If there's a fire, they're bringing gas. If there's no fire they're looking for matches. Doesn't Jackson have enough problems? Ignore these idiots.
