The
Clinton Police Department has arrested and charged one suspect with
armed robbery and another suspect with accessory after the fact in Friday
evening’s armed robbery on the campus of Mississippi College. A third
person of interest in the crime is being sought for questioning by the
Clinton Police Department.
Corey Gillispie Booth, 23, of Jackson has been arrested and charged with armed robbery with bail set at $500,000.
Conessia
Samuel, 21, of Jackson has been arrested and charged with accessory and
has been booked with bail set at $250,000 in the August 29, 2014 armed
robbery on the Campus of Mississippi College.

Clinton
Police have identified the vehicle utilized as a get-away vehicle in
last nights robbery of two students on the campus of Mississippi
College.
At 9:50 the two suspects pulled into the parking lot of Murphy’s Express, 2709 Greenway Dr., Jackson, MS, in front of the Walmart off Hwy 18.
The
suspect was caught on camera attempting to use a stolen credit/debit
card at the Murphy Gas Station. Suspect also attempted withdrawal of
funds from an ATM located in the parking lot of the Murphy Gas Station.
Suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, last seen wearing
long khaki short pants, a white shirt and a dark colored ball cap.
Car
is dark metallic red small four door sedan with damage to the right

On Friday, 8/29/2014, at about 9:40 PM, two Mississippi College students were walking from their dorm to a nearby parking lot.
Witnesses
saw a single black male walking on the sidewalk behind the students.
The male suspect followed them across the street into the parking lot
where
he robbed them at gun point of some personal belongings. The students
escaped without injury and immediately reported the incident.
The
suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, last seen
wearing long khaki short pants, a white shirt and a dark colored ball
cap.

The author of that press release needs to take out the old grammar text and look up the difference in the word "insure" which was used, and "ensure" which should have been used.

Good Lord. Y'all are embarrassing. I'm glad the robbers got caught. Good job Clinton Police. I am sure the victims of the robbery are also relieved to know that those people are not roaming around somewhere. Why all the unnecessary references to voting for Obama and race?
