Congressman Bennie Thompson will update Jacksonians
on federal legislation affecting the state and city at a Town Hall
meeting from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., today, Monday, August 25, 2014, at MetroCenter Mall Event Center, located at
the first floor entrance near the City of Jackson and Highway Patrol testing entrance.
District 28 Mississippi Senator Sollie B. Norwood
will also discuss legislation passed in the 2014 Regular Session that
affects the state. The congressman and senator will answer questions
during the event.

What legislation? Congress hasn't passed anything this year besides a CR that restored spending. And here in MS very little was passed that affects anyone. Even the drug testing for welfare isn't implemented yet. This will be a sad event full of folks complaining and being told by Bennie and whoever the other guy is (??) that they will get to the bottom of it. Promises made, not kept, from these two.
He will probably take notes from Haley who changes his voice to suit the crowd as well,Washington or Neshoba County Fair.
